3 Bed/1 bath vintage charmer with HUGE entry, separate living and dining rooms with built-ins, kitchen with dishwasher and recently updated bathroom and private porch! Unit has hardwood floors, heat included in the rent. Plenty of spacious shared areas but none of the bedrooms share walls so you can find peace and quiet when you need it. Ceiling fans in all the bedrooms and some additional storage in the basement! This place is perfect for 3 housemates, with plenty of space to spread out.

In the Building: backyard with patio and garden shared with friendly neighbors, coin washer/dryer in basement with some additional storage.

We have the basics in terms of furniture but there is room for more in this huge apartment and we’d be willing to part with a few things especially if you have amazing mid-century or eclectic pieces to add. Plenty of wall space for art. Extra perk if you have a record player to add to the mix.

Roommate 1 Lady in my early 30’s, socially conscious, tidy and considerate in shared spaces. I like to have an occasional game night, drinks on the porch, cook, read and watch movies at home. Head out of the apartment to take silly classes at the gym, tiki drinks or craft beers with friends, see live music and performance, and just about any and all of the cultural activities Chicago has to offer. I am a collector of experiences and am always up to try new things. I work as an arts administrator by day, and keep busy with a 2nd job on the weekends.

Roommate 2 Male I work in the service industry so work mostly nights. I also do improv and love going to comedy shows. I’ve been in Chicago for 12 years and love to explore the city be it new restaurants, exhibits, shows, and other events. I love our patio and grilling out in the summer. I like cooking but, it’s a work in progress, except for the grill. I like to watch movies etc in my down time. I like sports but don’t really watch religiously. I’m handy around the house. I like fixing and making things. I’m clean, responsible, and respectful. I’m excited to meet our new candidates! This is a great apartment with great neighbors in a great area.

Who we are looking to live with: Open to M/F, LBGTQ friendly and you should be too. Probably someone closer to our age who works since that may be the better lifestyle fit for all.

Looking for a housemate that is clean, considerate and interested in making this really cool apartment feel like a home. Someone reliable and timely in paying the bills and takes the initiative to keep things tidy (even the deep cleaning that no one likes), buying household items and keeping the house organized. Able to openly communicate about roommate issues to keep the relationships happy and healthy.

We stay pretty busy and while we don’t expect any new best friends we hope to live with someone who we’d want to share an occasional drink, meal and doing cool things in their lives that we can have a conversation about.

Landlord won’t allow any more pets, but we have some fantastic dog neighbors.

Other details: Landlord required application and proof of employment with $150 non refundable application/move-in fee, 1 yr lease. Gas/internet/electric split 3 ways avgs $50-60 per person per month. Heat is included in the rent. No Central AC but we have a spare window unit you can use in your bedroom if you like.
