I am happily retired on military disability. My daughter and granddaughter are moving out. This condo is located in the Rogers Park neighborhood on the north side of Chicago four blocks from the beach and down the street from Wrigley Field. Rogers Park is a very friendly. reasonably safe, diverse neighborhood near shopping, restaurants, Loyola campus, parks. This is a fairly large condo, and the two bedrooms and bath are set apart from the rest of the apartment for quiet and privacy. Your share of the rent includes heat, a/c, electric, Wi-Fi internet, cable tv, a free laundry room in the basement. This is a vintage Old Chicago style building built in 1928. When the weather is nice neighbors get together in the court yard/garden for barbecue and drinks. Your room is about 11x12 feet plus two closets and a small vestibule with a wall size mirror and two windows plus a crystal chandelier. The room comes unfurnished, however I can provide a surprisingly comfortable air bed and computer desk if need be. Pets are ok as long as they’re housebroken. I am a retired Vietnam veteran who is friendly, funny, laid back, no drama and pleasantly neurotic. It should be noted that I smoke medical marijuana in my room only, and I don’t mind if you smoke too. I don’t care how old you are as long as you have a job or other source of regular income.
