Melissa's room

Renting out a room in our 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath townhouse. Rent is $800 a month and includes utilities and internet. Nice sized room, no private bathroom that would be shared with the house. We like to keep a relatively clean house and expect the same in return. We just need mutual respect for the house and for everybody who lives there. Access to the kitchen, living room and backyard with large storage shed. 1 parking spot would be provided, and there is additional parking for guests. Also has a nice sized laundry room. House is in the Lynnhaven area so very close to pretty much anything you could want. The room is furnished, but anything that is not needed can be removed. There is a $50 application fee for background check.

My husband and I are both insurance agents. He is 40 and I am 36. There are a couple other roommates as well (37M and 43M). We are pretty laid back. We are pretty much homebodies and spend a lot of our time hanging out at home, playing video games or watching Netflix or YouTube. We do smoke, but absolutely no smoking in the house is allowed. There is a smoking hangout area set up in the shed out back. We do have 5 cats so being good with my little fur babies is a must, but because of this we are not allowing any other pets. Also, no children. We do not have any children and do not have the space for any in the house. The room is for a single adult only.
