The master bedroom and regular room will be available in my giant Bushwick townhouse for May 1st. I’ve been living here for about five years and haven’t encountered a place quite like it since. If it looks big in the photos that’s bc it is lol. We have two large living room spaces, huge kitchen with an island, a basement for storage, massive raised rear deck (w/ plenty of trees for privacy). When friends have come over they always remark something along the lines of “Wow, you guys have so much space… I can’t believe this is an apt in new york!”
IMPORTANT DETAILS:
- May 1st move in date
- Security deposit (amount of one month’s rent) + 1st months rent required to move in

Massive walk-in closet and cool brick fireplace and brick wall (the fireplace is purely for show). In fact, it’s bigger than most nyc living rooms. Plenty of space to setup however you want.
Regular room: (900/for one person)
Street facing room with plenty of light and good-sized closet. I was living here for 3 years and it’s perfect for one person who is on a budget.
Rules for the apartment:
1.NO SMOKING cigarettes indoors, please! :-)
2. We’re all adults so we clean up after ourselves (esp dishes, our dishwasher is our friend!)
3. Home is a friendly place! We have a positive dynamic when together, but value one another’s time/space very highly.
About the area:
21 minute train ride to Union Square. Cross streets are Wilson ave and Covert St. About 4.5 blocks walk to the L train (8 minute walk on Wilson ave). About 6/7 blocks from the J train (11 minute walk).
One block away from my fav bar, Father Knows Best. Around the corner from my favorite organic market where I get all my groceries. Several non-organic and cheaper options are nearby up and down Wilson ave. Two blocks from Irving Square Park.
