I am currently renting a 2-bedroom apartment and I am looking for a roommate to share the cost, so I can reduce my cost of living. The bathroom is shared, but it’s big and has a dual sink with plenty of storage room. The apartment is 933 sqft.

The dinning room is furnished, but the living room area is relatively unfurnished. I would prefer if you don’t have any living room furniture, but it’s not a big deal.

Amenities include: Swimming pool, gym, outdoor kitchen (gas grills) and unassigned parking in the parking building.

The apartment is located in the Montrose area, just a block away from Buffalo Bayou Park. It takes 5 minutes from the apartment to get on the trail. The apartment complex is quiet, and your room will be facing a quiet street with almost no traffic. Ideal for working professionals or students at UH. The location is great if you work downtown, it’s only a 5-minute drive away, if you work outside downtown then you will be reverse commuting (like I do), and if you are studying at UH then you will be looking at 8 mins without traffic.

The cost listed includes high-speed internet, electricity, water and all the other utilities such as trash etc.).

The lease ends on Feb 18th, 2024, and I will not be renewing as I will be moving away.

I have a cat, a 13-year-old Norwegian Forrest Cat, so you would need to like or at least tolerate cats.

Rent will be payable ahead of time and to me, so on the 1st of the month for the same month (October 1st for October).

You will have to do a background check at the apartment complex and sign onto the current lease. During that process, you will be required to pay a $75 non-refundable application fee.

I will be the only person you are living with. I am an engineer in an energy technology company (Baker Hughes). I work everyday from approx. 8 am to 6 pm. I work from home Mondays and Fridays, and in the office Tuesday-Thursday. I am chill, non-partier, considerate, organized, clean, quiet and friendly. In my free time I like to watch Netflix, YouTube, exercise, and play computer games.
