East 95th Street

Its the largest bedroom of a 3 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment on the UES, which can be available on either July 1st or July 15th. See photos of apartment below. Our place is located on East 95th, just a block from central park. We are still waiting to hear back about our rent renewal, but the room should be between $1260-1340 per month. There’s no broker’s fee since the apartment is being passed down without a broker, but there will be a deposit. Room itself is large by NYC standards. Our current roommate has a full bed (but would also fit a queen), dresser, bookshelf, and a giant desk. Room also has a large closet and two windows. There’s a fire escape outside one window that you can hang out on or try keeping plants alive on. The bedroom faces the inner courtyard so it’s very quiet and easy to sleep. Living room is also a good size, has two windows as well so full of light. Right now we have a dining table, couch, coffee table, TV and two bookshelves in there. Kitchen has everything you need, including a dishwasher. Also, if you want to buy any of our roommate’s furniture, she is interested in selling some of it.

You would be living with two girls, both of whom are grad students and runners. We both are quite busy and generally keep to ourselves but also friendly and get along really well.
