Looking for a female roommate in a 2bdrm apt.

It’s 8’6“x12’9“, hardwood floors, upstairs, with a sizeable closet. The closet in the room is 5’8’‘x2’7’’ with two overhead shelves 11’’ deep. Items in room pics are temporary. The floors were refinished just before my/our moving in so no rude splinters or bumps. The bathroom is shared with one person (myself), laundry facilities on site, wi-fi, a/c, no yard, but a friendly and charming common area with plants and a picnic table. In the lovely Irvington neighborhood for beautiful walks anytime of the year. 5min walk to Safeway, 10min walk to the streetcar.

Looking for a roomie that is responsible, communicative, yet, doesn’t mind a dish or two in the sink.

I’ve gotten to meet so many wonderful folks, dogs, and kitties for that, and I get to see many regularly on my walks around. A kindness to chat with so many familiar even if we’re just passing across the street. Hoping to stay and find a keen roomie that loves Irvington as much as I do!

On the note of dogs and cats, I am, obviously reluctantly, severely allergic… sorry, no pets. Resident spiders only. In house foodings and cooking ventures are vegetarian, but, eat as you like when out in the wilds of Portland!

The room is currently available. Rent is about $800ish +utilities +application fee($25). This is my post, but, you will be applying to the property manager.

I am a little bit of an offbeat gal, but domestically skilled, clean, kind, and respectful. I enjoy sewing, building, cooking, listening to old time radio programs, collecting reference books, playing records, and observing the local fauna, particular to crows. I keep odd and unpredictable hours as my work schedules me at random day/eve hours week to week, yet courteous and quiet as need be.
