Winding Farm

Your room and private bath are located upstairs, the only bedroom on that floor. It is furnished with queen bed, nightstand, chair and storage drawers in closet. There is also a 2nd closet with shelves for your exclusive use. The house has one indoor/outdoor cat. There is one full-time resident downstairs and one part-time (usually 2 days a week) resident downstairs. The house is close to 2500 sq. ft. The house has fast wifi and gas cooking. The kitchen is furnished with all the pots and pans and dishes you will need. You can chose from using the formal dining area or eating in the at the island kitchen. Upstairs is an empty game room that may be rented for your private use at a small additional charge. The atmosphere is quiet. One roommate is a non-drinker vegan the other eats meat and has an occasional beer. The room is intended to be use by one person, not a couple. There is space to park one car for yourself in front of home. Neighborhood is newer and gated. It is about 1.5 miles from IH-10 between Hausmann Road and DeZevala. Available Feb 1. Ideal roommate will be quiet, clean, low drama. Age, sexual orientation not a consideration. Adjacent to our neighborhood is the greenbelt, where you can walk or ride your bike on an eight foot path for about 25 miles. There are also miles of mountain biking if you are so inclined. In the kitchen, we have most of the amenities you would expect and there is plenty of space for you to store your personal food in our walk in pantry. The neighborhood is gated.

There are two male occupants, one part time and one full time. Age range: 52-67. We are looking to be conversationally friendly with whoever lives with us, but not wanting a person who entertains a lot a home and brings a lot of people over. A person’s lifestyle choices–gay/straight, age, diet choices etc is irrelevant to us. We want someone who pays the rent, without being reminded and is reasonably low drama.
