The 1500sq ft apartment is on the 3rd floor of a three-story building in a very nice location right in front of the Tufts running track and campus.

Your bedroom is large (15x 15) and has a spacious walk-in closet, fully furnished with a queen-size bed, a comfortable mattress, desk and chair, nightstands, drawer, several lamps, and a TV. Renovated and fully equipped kitchen and on-site coin-operated washer and dryer and free and abundant off-street parking. Somerville permit needed.

The apartment is conveniently located. a-12-min-walk from Davis Sq. where there are a red line and a lot of restaurants, supermarkets, and cafes. 20 minutes walk to Porter Sq. 15min on the bus to Harvard and several bus lines close. Perfect for a Tufts student. Available from June 1st, 2020 till August 30th, 2021.

You will share the apartment with me a recent graduate student. With the ongoing crisis and possible quarantines, roommates have had to trust — or force — each other to make the whole household’s safety and well-being a priority, and navigating these new responsibilities and intimacies is not always easy. Living under “a general understanding of what is appropriate,” if everyone understands the stakes, and the importance of social distancing is what we are looking for in a potential roommate. With the COVID-19 cases in surged, I am expecting that you are open to codified things. In cases of lockdown, and high surge, my current roommates and I we agreed to go out either to get groceries, take walks, runs, or exercise very early or late at night, and we wouldn’t allow anyone outside of a quarantine pod into the apartment. Limited visitors are a general rule.

Obviously we can always talk about it. The idea is not going to extremes in terms of stop living life, but have a common understanding if there is a sudden surge of Covid cases in Somerville. In general, I am easy-going and super clean. I am friendly but also keep to myself. I would love to hear from you!
