Room available January 1st (may be available in December) in 3-bedroom, the second-floor apartment of a two-family home. The room available is 10 ft by 13 ft roughly 130 sq ft, with a large closet. (pictures show the room as a rust color, but it is now a natural beige) The entire house has been recently renovated including new kitchen (with stainless steel appliances), new bathroom, updated electrical and plumbing. Off-street parking available for one car. I take care of all snow removal and lawn care.(I live in town) Looking for someone with a stable income, sane, quiet, easy to get along with and most importantly neat and can clean up after themselves in the common areas of the apartment. Occasional overnight guests are permitted within reason. (once or twice a month). There is no smoking inside the home, no partying and no pets allowed. The house is a 15-minute drive from Hartford, CT, 2 minutes from a commuter lot and 20 minutes from Springfield, MA. Also in walking distance is a CVS, Dunkin Donuts, Subway, and package store.

Rent is $600 a month. Minimum 6-month lease, after that it is a month to month. I require first and last month’s rent + $600 security deposit. (I can be flexible on payment plans for total move-in costs) Utilities include heat, water, electric, high-speed internet.

The other two rooms are occupied by two tenants. One is my brother who is mid-thirties, works in the school system. Very neat, respectful and outgoing. The other roommate is a mid-20s male. Both are very neat and respectable and considerate.
