Come and room with us (two men, one 30s, one 20s, relaxed/quiet living) in our awesome house in northern Skokie! For $560/mo, (plus 1/3 share of utilities, approximately $65/mo – $625 all included), stay in a mid-sized room with mattress, hardwood floors, ceiling light/fan, and private closet. (Feel free to bring your own furniture!) Room is available immediately – preference given to anyone who can move in or start paying ASAP.

Ample free parking available on the street–no parking issues! Rent includes free Comcast high-speed wireless internet and cable TV with loads of channels. You get equal access to our kitchen (with oven, stove, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, toaster, sandwich grill and more), dining room, living room, 1.5 bathrooms (shared), and rec-room basement with 55-inch TV. Also: free washer and dryer, foosball table, sofa for guests, back patio with grill, landscaped backyard, tons of storage space, and all property covered under renter’s insurance.

House is 2-3 minutes from I-94 in Skokie, with easy access to any of these towns: Skokie, Wilmette, Glenview, Evanston, Morton Grove, Niles, Winnetka, Northfield, Lincolnwood and northern Chicago. Five-minute walk to the Yellow Line; three-minute walk to a bus station.

Location is fantastic, as well… nearby grocery store and the massive Westfield Old Orchard (Old Orchard Shopping Center), the third-largest mall in all of Illinois. Easy access to Dempster Street and associated stores as well. You will not find a cooler place to stay!

Sorry, no pets, please–we wish, but it’s not our call. One person only (guests more than welcome, but we can only have three people living here maximum). Please no heavy smokers, drug users, or active alcoholics, and no smoking in the house. References required. Credit check and background check required (with small application fee); decent credit (650+) strongly preferred by landlord. Three-month minimum. Must sign renter’s agreement, and must give one-month notice if leaving.

I’m a marketing writer for an insurance company; my roommate is a student at the Chicago School of Violin Making. Relaxed/quiet living. Occasionally my girlfriend may stay a day or two on weekends.
