Hello! This is a warm, welcoming, quiet, safe space in one of Salem’s best neighborhoods! Located near the ocean, woods, bike paths, conservation land, a 6 minute walk to Crosby’s Market, about a mile from downtown, a bit further to the commuter rail, and steps from Forest River Park (see outdoor pics), there is a small yard and plenty of on street parking always available. Located on the second or third floor of a two family home, the room is cozy and lovingly furnished with a shared bath. Linens and basic kitchenware provided. Rent is $1150 + $100/month for utilities.
There is also another option to have the entire third floor, which consists of 2 small bedrooms with large closets, a large living area, and a private bathroom. Bedrooms are in the process of being furnished and the living room has a large, leather sectional sofa with some Mid Century Modern furniture. It is quiet and sunny, as there are many skylights including in one of the bedrooms. This space is $1750 for one person including utilities. If you work from home, this space could be ideal for you.
As there are never more than 3 people living here, the house is never crowded. It is sunny, with good air flow.
Occasionally a friendly dog stays over but sorry :( that permanent pets are not permitted.
