Hey y’all! Moving to Chicago for work, first time living here! I work as a neurocritical care fellow; in other words, I work a lot/the hospital semi-owns my soul, but in my spare time I enjoy exploring new places to eat and drink, shopping, watching football and hanging out with my very friendly and chill adult neutered cat.
I'm only home about half the time, and when I am there, I'm quiet, super clean and probably just chilling watching tv and sketching my next build. I fix, build and remodel for a living, which means if anything breaks, I can probably fix it for you too. I really enjoy helping people, getting a good nights sleep, and laughing at myself. My partner has a house that I stay at a lot, and very rarely comes over. I'm trans and queer, but come off as straight and cis most days. I like comedies over horror, coffee over booze, movies over books, and meat over carbs. I also cook a lot, and enjoy making for others!
I work for a startup in a hybrid data science/consulting role. I travel a lot for my job and work remotely when I'm home. I'm respectful, considerate, and clean. I'll welcome your friends over at any time as long as they're the same. I'm a non-smoker (allergic) and casual/social drinker (mostly wine and craft beer). I try to stay active and live a healthy lifestyle so if you enjoy lifting, Pilates, running, biking, or pretty much anything else outside we'll probably have something in common. I like trying new things and am always down to see an exhibit at a museum, check out a restaurant or brewery, or go to a cultural event. Ideally we'd be friends and occasionally do things together (e.g. roommate dinner, go to the beach, catch a game) but I'm not needy and will give you as much space as you want. At minimum, we should get along though and both have a "live and let be" mindset (if you're xenophobic or ultra conservative, we wouldn't be a good match). Looking for another non-smoking working professional who's clean, easygoing, and not a hermit. I'm open to several areas of Chicago including Old Town, Lincoln Park/Ranch Triangle, Bucktown, and parts of West Town neighborhoods close to the blue line. I'd consider the Near North Side, Logan Square, and River North as well. I have a strong preference for a place that's under a 20 minute walk to an L stop and less than two miles from a nice gym (FFC, Equinox, LSF, WPAC/BAC, Midtown, or something comparable). My move-in date is flexible (end of April to July).
Young Professional Work for a cloud based technology company downtown Low-Key During the Week Out and About During the Weekend In my spare time I enjoy: Attending Concerts and Sporting Events Checking out the local Brewery and Restaurant Scene Cooking and grilling when the weather permits Exploring Chicago and its vibrant neighborhoods via my bicycle Spending as much time as my schedule permits outdoors Staying active Working with Design and Photography Clean and Organized

I am currently searching for jobs in my field downtown as I have recently completed graduate school 😊 I enjoy fitness, painting , and the occasional Netflix binge when i have the time! looking for a roommate (preferably female, but I’m not opposed to my other options!) mainly someone who is clean amd respectful 😊 I would prefer to be as close to the downtown area as possible. I have been looking in areas like wicker park, Bucktown, Logan square, Pilsen, uptown, and south Loop but I am open to other options as well.
Oh gee I’m bad at talking about myself. I’m 20 years old & currently live in Bellwood, IL. Super boring here, I lived in West Town for 5 years before my parents bought house in the suburbs and really want to go back to the city especially since I work at Piece Pizzeria still in Wicker Park. I’ve got my medical card so I do smoke. I usually keep to myself but I’m also willing to hang out n stuff!
Obsessed with interior design and making sure the home is very nice and clean. I have a whole house of furnishings so if you don’t have anything it’s perfect! I’m very chill and keep in my room a lot when I’m home and don’t have many peolope over so I’ll never bother you. I enjoy exploring the city, wine and Netflix, finding new places, playing games, new projects, crafts and I have a sweet kitty!
Super chill laid back reliable clean and easy to live with. Full time and part time employed downtown for 10+ years.
Hello! I’m 26 and work in the fitness industry. I tend to keep to myself mostly. I’m passed the party stage of my life and would prefer roommates who were similar. I dislike clutter and keep common areas clean. I have a small cat that I put a lot of effort into keeping her areas clean as well.
I'm a writer/designer working freelance to generate gravy income, on top of a guaranteed monthly stipend that covers rent, utilities, and most other living expenses. I'm neet/clean, extraordinarily responsible and a good human being, with a generous spirit.
Hey guys! My name's Sarah and I just accepted a full-time job out in Oakbrook, so I'll be reverse commuting from the city (so I need to be able to reach I290/would like parking options). I'm looking for a place preferably near/in Wicker Park for November 15th, but I'm flexible. Also flexible about end of lease, just want smith until around summer. More about me, I'll be pretty boring during the week (Netflix/sleeping), but exploring/eating my way through Chicago on the weekends! I'm allergic to cats/dogs so that's a deal breaker. I have a couple places I'm interested in/would be so open to anything you've come across. Honestly I'm very low maintenance, will keep the place clean and am very upbeat. If you think we might be a good fit, let me know and we can talk more! :)
I am very clean and organized and am very social, but not without consideration for anyone else I live with. I enjoy going out and doing things, but with working full time I am responsible with my time and actions. I promise to uphold my end of the cleaning! Looking for some fun people to live with who are down to grab a beer in the evening, or just sit on the couch and watch netflix!
I started working at an Organic Gardening company right after graduation about a year ago. They're relocating me in Fall this year. It'll be my first time living outside of California, and I'm really looking forward to seeing what Chicago has to offer! I'm a laid-back roommate. The only things that really get on my nerves would be frequent loud noises after midnight on weekdays or a mountain of dishes in the sink. My hobbies include checking out local music and craft breweries, backpacking, hiking, and playing videogames.
I lean more towards being an introvert, so you'll never have to deal with annoying shenanigans from me,and I can clean up after myself. Currently a student and working at a forver yogurt. I'm okay with pets! If smoking is a problem I can keep it out of the house.
I just started a job in the loop while also finishing up my bachelors program online. I love any outdoor activities, working out, cooking, having fun an socializing, and reading. I am very clean and respectful of others and would love to find someone who is the same :)
Speech Language Pathologist working in Little Village looking to move to the west side to commute to work. I have one quiet, mostly well behaved cat that I brought to America from Lesotho, Africa (I’ll tell you that story later). I am a conscientious, friendly, and clean roommate!
AZ native, been here for a year, and learning about the city and the Midwest as I go (didn't really know cold until I got here). I'm a fitness pro with a decade in the fitness industry and I love it! I'm ambitious and always working on one iron in the fire or another, but I still love to get out for some drinks and social networking, not the online stuff. P.s. Wanna get me outta of the house with you? Just mention food and I'll be there.
I'm a very laid-back roommate but also very clean/tidy. I'm originally from a small town in northern Michigan, and I'm moving to Chicago for programming school after living abroad for a couple years. I love yoga, reading, and hanging out with my cat, who is very sweet and friendly!
Hey there! My name is Cass and I'm a dog walker/graphic designer. I have 1 lovely angel of a cat that can't live with other cats. I love riding my bike, thrifting, cooking & crafting. No racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia or anything of the like. Fuck 12.
Moved to Chicago for Computer Programming school. Need a place to stay for a few months until I find a full time job in coding. I am a nice, clean, polite, and fun roommate and looking for the same. Private bathroom and bedroom only!
I’m an art teacher in Chicago. I enjoy exploring the city, checking out shows or events, and trying out new restaurants. I also enjoy nights in to catch a movie, have a wine night, or just read a good book. I’m laid back but I like to keep my place clean and communicate with my roommates well.
I'm a 22 year old male working full-time as a research/data specialist for a Head Start program in the west side. I moved to Chicago in the middle of last year after finishing my undergrad on the east coast. I'm applying to philosophy grad programs this fall, so will likely be focused on that through December. I'm a pretty quiet and introverted person, though I also like to socialize and meet new people. I also don't consider myself to be a big partier, but I like to have friends over for coffee or a beer every once in a while. I otherwise spend my spare time watching tv, reading, or going to comedy shows/museums/concerts. Definitely value keeping a clean apartment and doing my fair share.
Hey I'm Zach. I'm from a small rural town in Indiana, very easy going. I switched my major from comedy (yes you can major in comedy) and I'm currently an advertising student at Columbia. I enjoy being outdoors, sports, and love to party haha. Hoping to move in sometime mid-summer to enjoy the city a little more and get a job before school starts up again. Looking for chill roommates that like to have fun.
Hello! My name is Eileen and I am a young professional working in the creative field. I work long hours (gone 10+ hours a day) am very positive and love Chicago! I keep my living spaces very clean, and have a respectful mindset. After work I like to unwind with TV and wine or going out to cool bars in the city. On weekends I stay very active with friends and family, and once summer starts you can find me on the lake with my boat friends! I love cooking and am very open to roomy dinners :) I would like to be on conversational terms with my roommate, and preferably friends! That way we can discuss bills, any issues that pop up, and guests in a prompt and nice manner.

Hi! It is very important to me to keep common areas tidy and enjoyable for everyone in the house. I'm a line cook by profession and love to make meals for the house when I'm not working. I work evenings, from around 2-12, and love to relax and have a quiet evening at home after work. Oh, and my cats are really cute!
I'm pretty chill..I recently graduated from college with my Bachelors of Music..While in college I lived on campus so I am used to sharing space. I enjoy reading, hanging out with friends, baking desserts, going to concerts, making music and I really wanna learn how to make pasta from scratch.
Clean and tidy. Friendly and inclusive. Athletic. Respectful of noise. nature enthusiasts. Gardener. sports. gym rat. Traveler. fashionable. Baker. young professional. works weekends. retail management.
Love live music and sports, love to get out and try new places (bars or restaurants, love breweries). I am clean and respectful, but also enjoy sharing. So, what's mine is yours (to some extent, of course)
I love making a house into a home - decorating and creating a cozy environment is important to me! I'm laid-back and introverted, but I love to build community by having friends over. I'm really not into partying or being too wild. I'm super involved at church in Wicker Park, I work off the blue line, I'm a graphic designer and photographer.
I keep common space clean. I am respectful of the boundaries and space of others. I am reliable, honest, compassionate, and a good listener. I like to have fun and be quirky, but can be serious and contemplative when necessary. I work as a barista. I love coffee and come with an espresso machine. I have one cat (who doesn't like other cats, unfortunately). I like Zelda, Studio Ghibli, select amine, binge-watching Criminal Minds, and occasionally going out. I am also a musician, and love writing music, singing, and playing guitar. I've lived in Iowa and Arizona, but have called Chicago home for 6 years now. I love places with charm but modern amenities, and having a dishwasher and laundry on site would be ideal.
Australian who has just travelled the USA and is looking to settle down in Chicago. Im fairly outgoing and very easy going/laid back. I get along with anyone and am just looking to sink myself into this city's atmosphere/culture.
I have a full time and part time job, all bills are on time which is super important to me. I am chill, no drama type. Occasionally I will cook, but mostly am out working coming home in the evening. Sometimes I am home on the weekends depending if I pick up at my part time. I do have a dog, 3 yr old Wheaten/ACD mix girl who depending on the apartment she will come with, if not it's ok I have a place for her to stay. I do have a 12 yr old, but she lives out of state with grandparents, so I tend to go visit over holidays. My boyfriend spends some nights since we have opposite schedules it is just the time we get to see each other. I am outgoing, funny, clean, respectful, and love to enjoy the occasional drink to wind down. Prefer to live in Logan Square, Hermosa, Avondale, Pilsen, or near the blue line/90/94 expressway.
I'm a Michigan Born Chicago living music teacher who also works in the music business. I have lived with a lot of people so I'm very easy going. I love going out but am pretty introverted when im home. I am also fairly clean for a creative type person if you know what i'm saying. I'm new- ish to the city and looking for new friends, good times, and the perfect apartment.
Hey there. My name is Daniel, in my early 20th, from Ukraine, speak three languages. Few words about me: I'm a writer, spend all free time in coffee shops or parks reading and writing. I meditate, do some sport, and have a full-time job at the Chinese restaurant Duck Duck Goat. Pay bills on time and keep the area around me clean. I usually don't cook at home and eat out. I don't have much furniture, just basic stuff like a bed, desk, and some items for storage. I'm organized and keep things very simple. In general, everything I need is a place for bed and shower. I leave the house no later than 7.30 and come back late at night 7 days a week so that you won't see me too often. I'm looking to rent a room around 1st of April or earlier if possible. Would love to have a coffee with you and check the place in person. Let me know what time will fit best for you!
Hello! Just a little bit about myself, I’m a 26 year old male Chicago native who’s about to finish medical school in New York, and finally moving back home for my anesthesiology residency. As a result, I’m a pretty busy person at work and quiet during the week, and tidy when it comes to living arrangements and keeping organized, etc. For fun, I’m into biking, climbing, playing piano and guitar, going to local shows, as well as exploring random restaurants and bars in the city. I start work in mid-June, so a May move-in would be perfect. Let me know if you want to talk some more
I'm moving to Chicago for graduate school! I'm super serious about my future, but am also very enthusiastic to live in a new place and meet new people! I'm originally from Cleveland, OH but when to OSU for undergrad. I love going out and trying new bars and restaurants! I was in a sorority in college, and also I danced on a Bollywood fusion dance team :) I'm a clean and considerate roomie, and if I leave a mess it's in my room definitely not in the common living space. Go bucks!
I work two jobs, at a restaurant in Logan Square and at a law firm downtown, so I won’t be spending too much time around the apartment. If I am though, I’ll most likely be reading, or watching Netflix in my room.
I am from Australian however I will be completing college in Michigan on a tennis scholarship. I graduate at the end of April 2019 and will be looking for a room to rent in Chicago once graduated.I am looking to get a full time job working in Human Resources.
