Look for at least 6 weeks but open to signing a lease with the right roommate(s) fit. I'm testing out the waters, plan on moving to the LA area, hopefully near the beach. I've been anticipating this move for months so I'm prepared with 3-4 months rent if the right situation presents itself. I'm a pretty laid back person. I'm sure everyone says that. Respectfulness, I'm non-judgmental and honesty are traits of mine as well. I do like a roommate who cleans up after themselves and doesn't expect their roommates to clean up after them as well. Contributing towards shared areas, sharing cleaning responsibilities, money towards buying cleaning products, within reason and duties fairly distributed and rotated. Food rules should be agreed upon among roommates but labeling is easy enough. Asking to eat some of my food is fine too and if I'm not there or you don't want to wake me, grab it and make it up to me later. It's food. I expect we'll share some meals but schedules may not be ideal all the time. Being respectful of other roommates sleeping needs should be voiced and agreed upon if roommates have different sleep schedules but agree to live together anyway. But its great when roommates respect each other, each other's property, treat roommates like you'd like to be treated. That's the goal. I don't plan on being home all day. High Speed WiFi at home is nice to have. It doesn't have to business speed or anything though, I'd be open to it. Just the normal, home high speed is fine. I hope other roommates are willing to share the cost. Sounds pretty reasonable. I'm going to be in classes, writing, exploring or networking. Be nice to find other's in the entertainment industry, performers, artists, musicians, creative types but open to all. As long as we pay our bills on time. I got that covered for the first few months and a deposit as long as I stay within budget. I've no pets but I'm an animal lover. I respect all animals, the environment too. Might have something to do with my Native American heritage but that's another story. I get a long with most dogs even the ones that don't usually like strangers but I'm no dog whisper by any means. Used to dog walk and house sit. Like cats too, not allergic. Not a fan of too many pets in a small or not adequate enough space. Get a long with most people. I like to make an effort be positive towards others and try to learn something from anyone and everyone. I like learning about ancient history and cultures. I'm more spiritual, less religious(I won't try to convince you.) but I believe in treating others as you'd like them to treat you. Not trying to tell others what to do or how to live their lives.
