I have a full time job with the government in Arlington, as well as an internship on the weekends so I’ll rarely be home. I’m clean, quiet, and will have a consistent income to ensure payment on time, each month.
I’m very neat and tidy and can be very socialable when I’m not exhausted. I love to cook so I’d be more than willing to make breakfasts and/or dinners as long as someone helps with dishes! I’m currently an Esthetician working in Tyson’s Corner and I very much enjoy my job and learning about everything that I can. When I get the chance, I enjoy going into DC for lgbt+ centered dance lessons for blues, bachata, swing, and zouk! If I’m not out in DC, you can usually find me at the gym or relaxing on the couch! Must be LGBT friendly!!!
Hello! I am a 28 year old college educated hospitality manager looking for a new home as my current landlord has decided to sell my townhouse. I am a NoVA native, having grown up in Arlington and lived in the Fairfax area post college. Often I am a bit of a homebody. I enjoy cooking, reading, watching movies, and a lot of British TV. My biggest hobby is collecting vinyl records, and I've amassed around 115-125 records (I keep losing count). When I'm up to going out, I am a keen hiker, and I love to take day trips down to Prince Williams park or long trips to Shenandoah whenever possible. I am also a huge concert fan, and I'm always looking for my next show in the area. I am a great cook as well, and I am always up to cook house meals (assuming we pitch in for ingredients haha). I am a quiet and considerate roommate, and as my profession is hospitality cleanliness and courtesy are two of my strongest points. Having managed kitchens for five years, kitchen cleanliness particularly is a strong priority for me. I know basic maintenance in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry as well from past jobs and can perform basic maintenance as needed. I hope that this gives you a basic idea of what I could be as your next roommate, and I thank you for your time and consideration.
I'm very chill, clean, trying to get back in shape so I found fondness in the gym, I love to socialize with you and get to know who I'm living with, I also love to cook :) So there may be days where I ask you what you like to eat and whip something up in the kitchen or plate nachos for all of us and have chill movie nights or Netflix binges. I also respect when people need their space, but if you ever need someone to talk to I'm doors down.
I’m retired from the USG, but work full time as a contractor, and am away 3-4 weeks at a time. This alone doesn’t make me a great room mate.... I also cook! I’m clean (but not quite OCD), and I was a mechanic at one time, so I can fix things. A garage for my car would be awesome, but not essential.
I’m a fun, respectful, young professional and all around good person. Will never commit to a living situation that would be financially overbearing. I’m a sports lover, movie/tv, and video game lover as well. I’m from the northern Virginia area so I know the area relatively well. And I do have my own car as well
We are 2 part-time GMU students, full-time professionals with a sweet cat, looking to share an apt/house with other clean, responsible, non-smoking, easy-going adults. Adri is studying to be a teacher while Carmen is working on her law degree. We keep busy schedules throughout the week, generally arriving home after 8pm. During weekends we enjoy museums, hikes, vineyards, shows, and the occasional Netflix binge. Ideally, we would like to share a space with other young professionals who respect and keep common areas clean.
I'm a female, professional, non smoker. Go to school part time as well. Have a cat. Am fine with roommates who want to keep to themselves or hang out a little. I enjoy a good Netflix binge, hiking, or checking out wineries and brunch places!
Hello! My name is Shawnna! I'm a senior at George Mason University, expecting to graduate in December. I'm majoring in English w/ a concentration in Writing and Rhetoric and minoring in Art and Visual Technology. I currently work as a peer tutor at the Writing Center on campus and as a cashier at Merrifield Garden Center. I'm from a military family and have moved around a bit. I like to read a lot and have plenty of books. I love plants and I keep a few around. I mostly keep to myself and I like to have a mostly tidy living space. I don't drink or smoke and I don’t like loud noises as I am an anxious duckling.
I am full time graduate student finishing my Master’s in Educational Psychology. I am hoping to find a room to rent for my the remainder of my program, a little more than one year. I get along well with others and pretty laid back, but tend to keep to myself. Due to my work and school schedule I most likely will not have guests. I love to cook and making sure my space is clean and organized. As I am a full-time student on a tight budget my my price range is between $500- $650.
I recently accepted a job in Manassas, VA as a Field Broadcast Engineer contracting with the Pentagon, White House, government agencies, military bases, etc. So after my initial several months of training in the Manassas area I'll be traveling quite extensively throughout the country and world for several days and up to 2 weeks at a time. I love deep conversations and meeting new people from all different walks of life. I've lived all over the place, Originally from DC, have lived in Wisconsin, Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, Alaska, Colorado, then back to Arkansas, now moving to Virginia. I'm what you'd call an adventurous nerd, my hobbies are hiking, rock climbing, snowboarding, and mountain biking when outside, and when I'm inside building cryptocurrency mining computers, building 3D-printers and 3D-printing random things, reading science fiction novels, and binge-watching entire seasons of something while drawing concept designs. I'm also a night-owl and I don't sleep much but when I'm up late I'm just on the computer with headphones on or reading a good book. My family and I built a house back in 2008 then my mother, Cara Brookins, wrote the book "Rise" detailing our tough experience and it went internationally viral throughout 2017, a movie deal followed shortly after with Lionsgate for them to make a movie about the events in the book. So if anything in a house breaks then I know how to fix it!
I am a lively person, funny, great sense of humor and very clean. I am pretty laid back and spend most of my day at work and the gym. I like watching soccer and basketball. I am a very easy going and fun to be around. I always pay my rents and bills on time. You'd have no problem living with me.
I have a 3 year old son that spends the majority of his time with his mother. I only have him every other weekend. I have a full time job with Fairfax County that has different than normal hours (2-10:30 pm) I would prefer renting a whole basement that has a full bathroom, a kitchen, and it’s own entrance. I’m a blue collar worker so if the house needs some work or the lawn needs taken care of or if your car needs some work, I can help out with it all.
Originally from the West Coast, moved to the DMV area for work opportunity. I have 2 quiet cats, and am a very tidy person. Both my boyfriend and I are the quiet type of people who do enjoy respectful company.
Hi there!!! I am Kaye! I am looking for a nice place to stay for at least 6 months - year. I am hoping to find a cozy place, preferably with a private bathroom and separate entrance is a plus! I am a single mom, however, my child doesn't live with me. Although, she spends her night with me sometimes. I also have a boyfriend that is currently lives in NYC and works in DC remotely as a security IT specialists and visits me time to time. I work in the hospital as an Emergency Coordinator with 12 hours per shift. I am also finishing up my Business Associates at Northern Virginia Community College by the end of this year. I sometimes work late hours depends on my shift. But I am mostly like to be alone as I love to sleep and work on my studies. I love to travel and eat different type of cuisines! On my free time, either I go to the gym, school, or sleeping. I also don't have any pets. Hope to hear from you! Thanks! -Kaye
We are a couple from Venezuela, I´m not in USA yet, but I want to go to spend at least 3 months with my boyfriend. We are both professionals, hard workers, no smokers, no pets, no children, we like to spend time watching movies, reading or cooking, we are a quiet couple, organized and clean.
I'm looking for a place to call home a couple of days a week. I work in Tysons and the day's i'm in tysons i am working or visiting friends/family in the area. So besides having a very limited footprint (really just needing some 'space' of my own and a bed to sleep in) i'm also a successful (drug free, smoke free, excellent credit, financially secure) guy with alot of interests and hobbies.
An easy going guy, tidy and clean. I work for a car dealership. Originally from East Africa. I like to walk and enjoy playing PS
I'm Kevin. 32 year old graphic and web designer working in Tysons. I am looking for a room to rent for about six months. I have a seven-pound Chihuahua mix name Peanut. He's a rescue and still pretty skittish, but is very sweet once he gets comfortable.
I'm quiet (introvert), clean, friendly, work all the time. I moved from NC last summer after graduating from university. I work in healthcare and plan to go back to school soon. I don't really go out or party. I like to sleep, watch movies and just chill and make people laugh.
Hi! I'm going to graduate from college this spring and I need a temporary place to stay in Northern Virginia for my full-time seasonal job with the Fairfax County Health Department. I'm extremely relaxed and adaptable and many people say I'm the easiest person to live and be with. I do like to socialize and hope to make some friends. I'm a public health major so I am completely responsible when it comes to alcohol and I've never smoked a day in my life. I'll probably only need to rent for about 6 months, as my job is set to end in October. Rooms can be unfurnished!
I'm a relatively quiet but easy-going person who enjoys a relaxed environment. I'm open to larger social gatherings from time to time. Currently, I work full-time as a graphic designer for an energy efficient windows company in Fairfax, VA. Some of of my hobbies include going outdoors/hiking, exercising, drawing, model making, occasionally going to concerts/festivals, and generally browsing online. I make sure to pay my rent on time and do my best to regularly clean up my room, bathroom, and other areas if needed.
I moved here from Texas, by way of california right after I graduated with an MBA. I work for a government contractor, Quiet, clean, respectful of other peoples space, easy going, and I have a perfect rental history.
I am a graduate student working 2 part-time jobs. I am from northern Virginia, but I am hoping to shorten my commute soon. I like to keep my shared living spaces clean and have had good experiences living with others in the past. I like to go hiking, happy hours, read, watch comedy shows, and go to the movies.
I’m adaptable, and prioritize communication. I’m an Animation and Game Arts Student from the philly/nj area, looking for housing for a summer internship. I love music and standup comedy. Currently enjoying a lot of Bo Burnham and John Mulaney.
Quiet, drama-free, reliable and respectful. I keep mostly to myself and always clean up after myself. Right now I can safely say I'm looking to stay around three months at least. Possibly longer, if we get along and everything goes swimmingly. I hope we do.
We are a couple, we keep to ourselves we both are in the eye industry, I work for an ophthomologist as clinical coordinator and he is general manager at an eye doctor's office in Tysons Corner. We are clean, always clean up after ourselves, enjoy staying in and watching movies in bed & ice cream. We go out very rarely, but when we do we usually go over for game nights at friends houses. Overall we are loving couple who respect other's spaces. We are looking for a basement with full kitchen in it, private entrance, and full bath. However, if there is a room available in townhome or SFH with private room and bath with shared kitchen, we are definitely open to it. We have two vehicles altogether. Thanks!
Two hard working professionals looking for a space to rent. Both have full time jobs and one of us is currently a full time student at NOVA. My boyfriend is an electrician and I'm currently taking the path to go to medical school. There are three sweet kids that would be staying every other weekend as of right now. The kids would be leaving every Sunday before 7:30 pm. We are both neat freaks and would keep the area clean. We are quiet and drama free individuals.
I'm 24, work full-time in Chantilly, and graduated from Mason. I'm sociable but very low-key, especially on work nights. I've been looking at 2Bed/Bath apartments in the area and was really hoping to find another young female professional like myself to start a lease with. I'm very down to earth, respectful of boundaries, and clean and tidy so I'd hope I could find a roommate who is around the same. Btw I love dogs! So I wouldn't mind living with one and wish I could have my golden with me too.
About me; I’m a laid back person, I work part time nannying and dog walking. I keep to myself pretty much but would love to have a friendship with my roommate if that was something they were interested in. I enjoy reading and watching movies, I’m very quiet and wouldnt cause a fuss. I don’t mind if you have friends over just if you respect my privacy. I’m a clean person with the occasional messy room.
I'm a background investigator in the Northern Virginia area. I'm potentially looking for a place to live. I have two cats, who are both indoor cats. I'm LGBT+ and Poly. I would likely be looking at a one year lease, maybe more, but am currently planning on moving in with my current partner at some point in the next year or so.
I am a dual citizen (New Zealand and USA) who graduated from university in the States in May. I am moving to the D.C area to begin my career in public accounting at the beginning of October. Ideally, my roommates would be of a similar age, and get along well enough to eat together/hang out together regularly. I am a pretty laid back kind of guy, I'm into sports (particularly soccer), music, snowboarding, surfing, but I also enjoy just hanging out.
This is Iqbal Safi. I am a working professional and looking for a place in Vienna. I am quite, clean and don't smoke and drink occasionally. I spend most of my time outside and when at my room I spend my time reading books. So if you think I would be a good fit, text me or feel free to call me.

I love to read, watch marvel/super hero movies, relax, play board games, and occasionally go on adventures (corn maze, horse back riding, wine tasting, apple picking, sight seeing). I buy most of my stuff on amazon because I don't love shopping, but I do love saving money, so I will always be ready to go thrift store shopping! On week nights I go to bed around 8 or 9pm and will have to wake up around 7am depending on how far it will be to get to work.
