I am a PhD student in education currently working full-time for the American Council on Education. I don't spend a lot of time at home, but when I do, it's down time (Netflix, snacks, general low-key vibes). I recently relocated to DC from LA and I enjoy the usual late millenial fare -- brunch, gym, yoga, travel, vegan food, museums, music and obviously avocado toast. I am extremely organized, but I don't mind living with people who are not as long as things stay clean. I have never had roommate issues in the past, and I like cohabitating with folks while maintaining separate lives. 420 friendly, but happy to forgo for a good situation. I don't expect much from roommates, but shared values are important to me. I think all humans are humans and should be treated as such. If you're not on that tip, we won't enjoy living together.
Very chill, relaxed and friendly and get along with everyone, love to cook all types of food. I’m super clean and love to be healthy and active. Drama free and Communication is key. I like sharing my things.
I have a full time job with the government in Arlington, as well as an internship on the weekends so I’ll rarely be home. I’m clean, quiet, and will have a consistent income to ensure payment on time, each month.
I'm really easy going but like to live in a clean and organized place. I like to hang out and watch Netflix but also like to go out and meet new people. I also travel about 40% of the time for work. Sadly, I'm allergic to cats. And, thats basically it!
Hello! My name is Samantha Davis and I am looking to move to the Cleveland Park area in September. I would like to live in a home with other young people who are either students are working. I am looking to work as well as take pre-requisite courses for a year before going to graduate school to be a therapist (also hopefully in the DC area!). I love to bake, read and watch Netflix. I am fun, respectful, sociable and a great roommate! Feel free to reach out and we can talk further.
I love making and hanging out with new friends but also can take a hint and keep to myself when a roommate wants space. Love to cook and can't wait to explore my new city of DC! Going to be working at the Federal Reserve in Foggy Bottom so looking for a place with good access there.
I'm looking for a private/single room with separate bathroom. I'm also interested in Studio room/ condo. I work in DC and would like to find a good place to commute to DC. Any place close to the metro (Red line preferably) is an addition.
I am an emergency veterinarian hoping to live near the red line for easy access to work. Though I often work unusual hours, it means both my roommate and I each get some time with the apartment to ourselves. I have one cat, but I am a fastidious pet owner and do not ask my roommates to to help care for him (but hopefully to enjoy having him around). I am tidy and travel often.
Recent graduate from the University of Georgia. I'll be working at the NIH-Bethesda campus doing research but I enjoy going out on the weekends and playing soccer! I don't have pets but am pet-friendly.
I'm a recent college grad applying to medical school and starting work full-time during a gap year. I like sports, video games, and hanging out with friends. I'm a clean person and a good roommate.
Very laid back nature lover. I'm working out of Bethesda but living in Annapolis, which is quite the commute hence my desire to move closer in. Meditation, mountain biking, and reading are some of my hobbies, looking for a peaceful place with friendly and genuine people.
I'm an average college student who is polite and quiet! I'm very good at being out of the way as most of my time is dedicated to studying. I enjoy reading, netflix, and website design. I'm easy going and love to learn to cook new things!
I am a graduate student attending Gallaudet University, originally from Madison, WI. I am friendly, funny, tidy, and considerate. I've previously lived with 1-4 roommates, male and female and gender non-binary. I like to read, watch movies, cook, hang out at home, and go out and explore. I am outgoing and like to have fun, but I am not a big partier and prefer a social but quieter living environment conducive to the lifestyle of a graduate student. I am looking for a place with 1-3 roommates off the redline. I love animals and children and I am fine to live with either/both.
I'm really easy to live and get along with. I'm very clean, neat and organized. I love to get out to explore and travel, so I would rarely be home and when I am home I'm usually pretty quiet. I would be a respectable roommate and would like to have a respectable roommate.
Hey! I am friendly, easy to get along with, very clean/not messy, organized, diplomatic/collaborative, and have a sense of humor!
Hello, I'm a Dutch girl (almost 23 years old) and I'll be doing an internship at DC's Dutch embassy. I'm very easy-going and I'm always up for a drink but I also like doing my own thing.
- I make really good Oreo Cheesecake Balls - My cat is the cutest and friendliest - I’m really good at diffusing awkward situations by making a fool of myself - I’m clean, but not in an overbearing way - I own most Disney movies - I value a good social life as much as the next person, but I also thrive (probably moreso) with some good chill/alone time
Hi! I'm from Minnesota, and I recently graduated from AU. I'm working as an actor, educator, and dog walker. I'm social and enjoy making new friends and hanging out, but I also definitely enjoy my alone time.
Hello I am interested in the room. My name is Brett and I work locally at the Treasury. A little about myself. I am social and clean. My hobbies are working out, keeping studious, and meditating. I don't smoke or drink. Feel free to call or text me Thank You Brett
Bills are always paid in full and on time. I try to stay out of the way as best as possible as I am introverted.
I am very tidy and organized. I'm very relaxed with most things and will not bother anyone. I'm open to conversation and love talking but will also stay quiet depending on your preference.
Hello, I'm a European student coming to DC for an internship from January till March 2019, I'm looking for a place to stay during those three months around Embassy Row. Ideally I'd like to live with young workers or students, in a group house/ shared apartment. The more the merrier. I lived in shared apartments/houses before and I'd be very happy to do so again in DC. I'll be on an internship so away from home from 9 to 5. I'm always up for drinks (belgian beers) or cooking, in the week or going out in the week-end.
I'm friendly, clean and respectful of others and their belongings. I've lived with both male and female tenants without any problems. I enjoy socializing but also enjoy time to myself. I enjoy wine, netflix and walks around the park with my chihuahua mix. I wouldn't mind cooking with others and trying new things. I'm pretty flexible and laidback.
I have been a critical care nurse for the last 3.5 years, and now I am a graduate student in the Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice at Georgetown. I have two very sweet chocolate labs, one is 7 yo and the other is 1 yo. I am a clean person, so would prefer a roommate who appreciates a clean place as well! I keep common areas clean/vacuumed and my pups groomed. I love wine and move nights and relaxing time at home, but also going to the gym, hiking, and doing anything outdoors. I occasionally like to go out on the weekends, but I also like my "me" time, so you don't have to worry about having your space.
My name's Alexia, I'm 24 yo and I come from France. I moved to DC about a year and a half ago to work at American University (I'm a lab tech). I speak English (and French) fluently so language shouldn't be a problem :). I've been living in shared apartments ever since I left my parents house (about 5 years ago), so I know what it means to live together with a bunch of people. I love to talk with my flatmates after my day at work, maybe share a drink or a meal but I also enjoy some alone time. I'm easy to live with, clean and tidy (but not too much). I enjoy going out or having friends over. I also love going to concerts all over DC, going hiking and cooking.
