Hi Everyone! I'm a Chicago Native with a Guatemalan ethnic background. My culture taught me to be a strong, responsible, generous, and brave young woman. I love myself some steak tacos and anything that involves my makeup, creativity and of course photography even though I'm an amateur. When it comes to living with me, all I want is the feeling of a safe space when I’m home. I tend to work the night shifts, so you won’t be seeing me around alot at that time. I keep my living space clean and always pick up after myself. I will have a couple people who are important to me that will come over occasionally but other than that I usually keep to myself. I’m 420 and LGBTQ friendly. I have a small white persian cat that’s shy and really just follows me around. He doesn’t bite at ALL. I’d like to bring him with with me if possible. Feel free to contact me if you feel we’d be a great match as roommates.
Recent cosmetology graduate looking to relocate back to the Midwest. I’m an Ambivert, love being social but also down to chill. I have 2 shy kitties that do well with new people and are familiar with dogs. I like to listen to “Purple Rain” when I clean and enjoy cooking whenever possible. Hoping to find something 6months to a year!
I am a food and beverage manager in Wriglyville. Typically work long and late hours. I have lived with three other people before, so I am very respectful of sharing spaces. I am moving from a single apartment and Indy and would be happy to move in with my furinture. I am a non-smoker without pets, but wouldn't mind having a roommate who had pets.
I am a lady in my mid-twenties moving from NYC to Chicago to start a PhD program at Northwestern next Fall. I have had many different living situations from a 26-person cooperative house in Madison, Wisconsin, to a 4 bedroom apartment in Brooklyn, NY. From these experiences I have learned how to be a good roommate, meaning that I am respectful of my roommates' life and space and appreciate a good balance of openness in communication, while also being able to have privacy. I am happy to become friends with those I live with, but it doesn't have to be a requirement if people like to keep their lives separate. Would prefer to live in a non-male dominated home. I imagine my life will be a bit busy with school work, so I need to be in a home that is quiet and relaxing, and a respite to come home to. I like clean living and am vegetarian.
I'm all alone, I'm single. I do not like bothering people and I am so independent. And I simply looking for a great place to live. Nice quiet place. I really would like a place where the balcony. I'm looking for a really small apartment. My paycheck is really small cannot afford past $600.00 I don't end up homeless. One bad thing after another. I'm also looking for a person who be kind enough to help me move to the new place. I am saving money to get a moving company both of you want to keep the money for yourself help me move. Roommate has to be clean and respectful. I don't do drama, so you don't have to worry about that with me and I always pay rent in full and on time. I simply following the work. I work out of town only home two days a week. In music Pop punk rock.
When it comes to cohabitation, I am a very respectful, cleanly, mature, consistent, and responsible individual. I work Monday-Friday, in the loop, for a Structural and Architectural Engineering firm. I come from an acting and business background, so I do value a collaborative, peaceful, and positive-driven environment in the home. My downtime usually consists of: movies, music, spa services, local events, and stimulating discussion. When it comes to guests, I am an advocate of being mindful of extended hours and volume; especially during the work week. I am a physically active person, so I do work out in the mornings before work. I also LOVE to cook. Anything else, feel free to ask.
I'm looking for a new place just like yours. Can you please let me know how much is parking per month? I am a well-traveled, polite and respectful 30 years old male. I will be getting into real estate and work in the restaurant industry for the first few months. Best, Samy Naim
I am a 22-year-old graphic designer. I studied Architecture in school and I love all things design and art related. I love to cook, read, and play my records. I live a really simple life, and love to just chill and enjoy the good times. During the summer I love to be out exploring Chicago and soaking in the sun, during the winter I normally spend my time creating or reading. I am very clean and pretty chill about most things and love getting to know new people and experience new things!
I am a pretty friendly and quiet person. I work a lot and I will be beginning graduate school, so I will be busy a lot. I'm pretty much care free and relaxed. I like to keep things clean but I'm not a neat freak. I respect people's personal space. If you wanna know more, I'm an open book!
I'm 40yo originally from NY, recently relocated from Denver to Chicago and I’m looking for a roommate. Easygoing, open minded, accepting, I am considerate of others. I have 1 friendly, well behaved cat, no litter box issues or behavior issues, she likes both cats and dogs. Would love to team up with roomie(s) that have pets bc my cat would love other pets around the home. No car I take public transport and ubers, need El within 15 min walk max. I like walking, bike riding, exploring Chicago, socializing, reading, going to meetups, watching youtube and movies and thrift stores. I love music and checking out the blues clubs and shows, etc. Perfect credit and rental history, responsible and I always take care of my bills and rent. Previous landlord references, savings and no issues if you background check. Right before leaving Denver I had been working as an auditor for the State. I’m currently pet sitting freelance and with Rover while looking for a comparable job and going to school here for Occupational Therapy so I will be pretty busy, and I keep adding new activities as I'm getting more settled here. Old Town, Gold Coast, Lincoln Park, Uptown, Lakeview, Wicker Park, so red line or blue line locations
I'm graduating from James Madison University in May 2019, and am so excited to move to Chicago from Northern, VA. I'll be working full time in Sales, and am looking for a roommate who likes to go out and explore, but also enjoys a night in watching Netflix. I'd love to live with someone who is social but also has their alone time! I'm into music, working out, yoga, exploring, and cooking. I consider myself outgoing, respectful, easygoing, and organized/clean. Hoping to move in by the beginning of June in the downtown, Loop, or Lincoln Park area. Update: My roomie and I found a great 3bedroom 2bath in South Loop and are looking for one more female roommate!
I'm only home about half the time, and when I am there, I'm quiet, super clean and probably just chilling watching tv and sketching my next build. I fix, build and remodel for a living, which means if anything breaks, I can probably fix it for you too. I really enjoy helping people, getting a good nights sleep, and laughing at myself. My partner has a house that I stay at a lot, and very rarely comes over. I'm trans and queer, but come off as straight and cis most days. I like comedies over horror, coffee over booze, movies over books, and meat over carbs. I also cook a lot, and enjoy making for others!
I work for a startup in a hybrid data science/consulting role. I travel a lot for my job and work remotely when I'm home. I'm respectful, considerate, and clean. I'll welcome your friends over at any time as long as they're the same. I'm a non-smoker (allergic) and casual/social drinker (mostly wine and craft beer). I try to stay active and live a healthy lifestyle so if you enjoy lifting, Pilates, running, biking, or pretty much anything else outside we'll probably have something in common. I like trying new things and am always down to see an exhibit at a museum, check out a restaurant or brewery, or go to a cultural event. Ideally we'd be friends and occasionally do things together (e.g. roommate dinner, go to the beach, catch a game) but I'm not needy and will give you as much space as you want. At minimum, we should get along though and both have a "live and let be" mindset (if you're xenophobic or ultra conservative, we wouldn't be a good match). Looking for another non-smoking working professional who's clean, easygoing, and not a hermit. I'm open to several areas of Chicago including Old Town, Lincoln Park/Ranch Triangle, Bucktown, and parts of West Town neighborhoods close to the blue line. I'd consider the Near North Side, Logan Square, and River North as well. I have a strong preference for a place that's under a 20 minute walk to an L stop and less than two miles from a nice gym (FFC, Equinox, LSF, WPAC/BAC, Midtown, or something comparable). My move-in date is flexible (end of April to July).
I am a full-time Marketing Coordinator for a media technology company. I enjoy sports, Netflix, happy hour, trying new places and hanging out with friends. I am pretty tidy and am respectful of shared/other people's space. My ideal roommate would be someone that I can develop a friendship with, but am fine with being roommates only. I do have 2 cats but they sleep in my room most of the day and are extremely well behaved :)
I am a 27 year old female who works in healthcare looking to find a potential roommate to find a place with. I am very active, and definitely not what you would call a "home body." I would also say I am very considerate, and very clean. I enjoy exploring the city, drinking coffee, working out, cooking, and trying different restaurants. I am very open to location, I do have a car. FYI: My lease does not end until May 31st. Looking for a lease to begin on June 1st.
I usually keep to myself but I am a musician. Please don’t imagine loud amplifiers and drum sets. I usually practice with an acoustic guitar and try to be respectful of people around me. I work days and usually get to bed at like 10 so late nights aren’t my thing. I do cook for myself and usually keep things pretty clean. I should also mention that I don’t drink smoke or do drugs of any kind.
Very laid back, easy going and open minded. Respectful and polite but also personable and fun to be around. That's some of what makes me me. In addition to my job I do volunteer work encouraging literacy in pre-schoolers. I'm a writer/performer (comedian) so I'm always reading and/or writing and prowling the city for fun stuff to do and cool people to meet and make laugh. Cultivating genuine connections with people is my game and that being said I hope you'll consider living with me but don't get me wrong, I can totally be that roommate that just keeps to himself quietly with no problem depending on the dynamic. Hit me up! :-)

I currently live in the Baltimore area. I love meeting new people, going to see theatre, writing, and spending time with my partner, who lives in Chicago. I'm in the area to study theatre and comedy. I'm friendly but respect personal boundaries, and I'm eager to find new roommates!
Hello, my name is Anna and I recently received a job offer in downtown Chicago upon my graduation this May 2019 so I am looking for one or more roommates to move in with! I live about an hour outside of Detroit and have only been to Chicago once, therefore I am unfamiliar with the city and looking for roommates to explore it with! I love going out on the weekends and from what I am told, Wrigleyville is a great place for that, however I'm open to looking in other neighborhoods as well. I am a pretty relaxed and clean roommate so I would say I am a pretty chill person to live with.
I will be New to the city! I am a consultant and I enjoy great food , conversation and wine. Previously lived on my own so I am looking for someone who is tidy in common areas . Ideally the apartment will be modern, personal bathroom and located near grocery shopping and public transportation. I am looking for a roommate that is independent but we can sometime do fun activities like working out, brunch, shopping or exploring new places.
Hi :) My name is Sam, im looking to rent a room asap!I moved here from San Francisco a year ago wanting to explore a new place and learn more about the world. I'm very open minded, friendly, and respectful. Kindness is a huge part of my outlook! I will be straight forward to you with my thoughts. My time is spent with music and photography. I love random adventures and nature. Going to festivals and shows is a huge part of my life. 420 friendly! Trees, colors, and strawberries are my favorite:)
I'm a gender fluid individual. I'm currently employed with a company called out-u-go working mostly I'm the South loop/pilsen area (I'm a professional puppy and kitty petter). I'm a huge fan of memes and dad jokes. I'm also very crafty in the art sense (I do everything from paint, make yarn tails, to clothing, and more. I'm also a flow artist (I play with hula hoops and staffs). I currently don't have any pets. I currently live in pilsen but am looking to move due to undesirable living conditions. I tend to keep to myself when I am home but tend to be out of the house a few nights a week. With my job I also tend to do house sitting. this can cause me to be out of the house for a few days to around 2 weeks at a time. I have a 7 year old daughter but travel to the suburbs to visit. Id like to work up towards having her over 1 to 2 weekends of every month in the future.
