I'm kind, considerate, down to earth and easy to be around. I clean up after myself and don't bring the party home. I'm respectful and courteous to everyone I meet. And I'm just looking for a safe place to relax, cook, 420 and sleep.
Looking for a place in Brooklyn or queens to live. Just started working full time. I've worked as a dishwasher and a cook for a while, so I'm good with cleaning up after myself and I know how to make good food when we don't have any food in the house.

Hi! Work full-time in the city and usually attends something afterwards so I'm out-n-about. That said I really love my homelife. I LOVE lots of sunlight for my many plantas, and for my own growth. My pantry is filled with jars for my dry goods, yummy tea and snacks. Respect that we all live differently, I appreciate a clean and cute shared space (again, with lots of sunlight!). Avid, avid bicycle rider!
My boyfriend and I are looking to move in together but we cant afford our own place because were both in school at the moment. We’re looking for an affordable room with a private bathroom. But we are very cool and down to earth people. We're also very clean. We like to chill and hangout. We love meeting new people and making new friends. We just love good vibes overall

I am a hard-working college graduate. I currently work, and I plan to go to graduate school. I am clean, and I keep apartment and my stuff in order. I am straight, and I am a non-smoker. I keep mostly to myself, because I have a lot of things to work on. I have a pretty busy schedule. I am open, friendly, and get along well with like - minded people. When I am free, I like to watch movies, read books, exercise (I do yoga), listen to and play music (I do not like rap though). I like art too and regularly go to art galleries. I like attending concerts too. I am looking for a furnished room with a desk in it. A desk is one of requirements that must be met in order for me to move in.
I'm a student at pratt institute's graduate program, a clean roommate, occasional cook, and prolific reader. Can be found at any nearby cafe working on a thesis or writing for work.
I have been working (as an archaeology research assistant) abroad and remotely, relocating for my project every few months, so I am a very adaptable and respectful roommate. I am clean, quiet and friendly. Vegetarian, non-smoker, dancer, mid-twenties. LGBTQ friendly. He estado viviendo en España, entonces hablo un poco de español and I speak some French as well. I've lived in NYC before, but it's been a few years now. I am looking for a short-term sublet for early August to the end of September while I continue my part-time research, which I do from home or at a library. I will be searching for a more permanent position, but as I am looking both in and outside of NYC, I won't know until late August how viable it would be to stay on for a whole year lease. Feel free to ask more questions, and I look forward to talking with you!
I come from Los Angeles California, however, I have now lived and worked in NY for five years. I go to school at St. Johns Business school for economics and I work with an artificial intelligence company as a business analyst. I am extremely clean and very friendly. I box and work out regularly, and on occasion play xbox where I have some spare time. Love going out for dinner in soho/lower east side. Overall, very easy going roomie that keeps to himself for the most part.
I will bring a lot of positive, creative energy to the space. I'm low maintenance and come with a beautiful seven year old African Grey Parrot. :)
Hey Roomies, I'm a middle school art teacher and artist with a few shows coming up. I'm looking to find a place to call home until August, month by month kin of deal. I work a lot and play tennis all the time so I'm definitely not in anyone's way but I love to socialize over a beer anytime. Hope to find a place very soon as I just went through a breakup and thought it would be the gentleman thing to do to let my now ex have our place (not my greatest idea so far). I like to keep my space clean and keep quiet.
My name is Isabel and I've created this account for my boyfriend, Javier, and me. Javier is the one who would really be in the apartment most of the time, as I'd hope to stay over some nights, but not all. We are both entering our last years in college, and we're super responsible, clean, and friendly. Javier is from Mexico City and I'm from NYC. We're both vegan and are very comfortable accommodating other lifestyles, too. We speak Spanish and English, we both love cooking and spending time outdoors, and we always make an effort to be very considerate and open-minded. We are looking for a room for the month of July, exact move-in and -out dates TBD, but likely June 30-August 3. Thanks!
No drama, respectful and courteous to others and their belongings. I am clean (not OCD), but I like to keep a tidy space. I have a little dog, but she is well behaved and only barks if she hears someone.
Right now I'm doing temp work and just secured a part time position. I also compose music for video games on the side. Mellow, Considerate (I'll go out of my way to make sure my music noise won't bother you) I like diner food.
Hi my name is Josefina but I rather people call me Josie , I’m 26 years old with no kids as of yet. I am a home body type of person, the most I do is work and stay home. From time to time I may go out but its barely. The reason why I can be great person to live with is because I am very clean type of person and Im considerate of other individuals stuffs ( meaning I wouldn’t touch anything that’s yours without you , yourself telling me to touch something. I am a very chill laid back kind of girl so far as being in the way or stepping on any ones toes , that would be your least problem. I am an Hispanic woman, who speaks it, read it and write it. I come from a Dominican/ Puerto Rican family
I'm laid back, friendly, respectful, kind, and responsible. I keep common areas clean. I don't bring the party home. I am good at making spaces feel cozy and welcoming. I enjoy learning and trying new things and I always pay rent on time.
I'm a very respectful person. I enjoy the privacy of my own room, yet I also enjoy quality time with roommates in and out of the apartment. I go to school full time and work part time, so I'm not home during the day. I play soccer, love new tv shows and movies, I read pray and meditate daily, will cook for you, and sometimes I will have a friend or date over, but only with the express written consent of my roommate :) If you ever need to talk about anything I have open ears and a shoulder to cry on. Let's just be respectful and friendly and you'll never we'll have a great time.
Hey I am a social worker who maintains a regular weekly schedule. I am more of a homebody I prefer to stay in cook and watch movies. I have a social life but I rarely bring the party home. I like to be clean and expect cleanliness especially in the bathrooms. I enjoy talks about just about anything. I am open to learning new things but as mentioned I can be to myself at times. I have a 7 year old sister I get frequently visited by but it would only be once a month on a weekend or so. Family is the most important to me. I come from VA so I have this southern accent thing going but I am originally from Newburgh, NY. I hope I can make a great roommate to someone soon. If you have any questions please feel free to ask I am a great listener and easy to get along with.

Hi! Swede with Croatian heritage looking for a new place to call home. I'm a full-time (sometimes more) game programmer and have been doing this for about a year in NYC. I make sure to always pay my rent on time and I'm very clean and quiet, but I don't mind hanging out. I spend most of my free time either going out photographing, playing video games or just exploring! :)
I work for a small tutoring company in Manhattan, and I'm working on an MFA in Poetry - I'll soon start teaching classes as an adjunct professor at Brooklyn College. I'm also regularly involved in some comedy performances around the city. This all means: I'm out of the house a lot! And when I'm there, I'm usually just chilling - reading or writing, though I'm totally down to have a convo. I know it sounds trite, but: I'm an easygoing roommate. I'd love to find a room in a relaxed apt for April or May. Thanks!
I'm a Social Worker at a middle school in the Bronx. Originally from California, I moved to Brooklyn for grad school and have now been in the city for 5 years. Overall, I'm a pretty laid back roommate who loves to bake and knows how to clean up after myself. My schedule during the weekdays is usually 8am-4pm or 6pm depending on whether I'm running some after-school activities. In my free time I really enjoying exploring the natural spaces of the city and beyond (hiking and just meandering), finding new recipes for sweet treats and going to concerts as much as my schedule allows.

I am a nice, real, open-minded, respectful person from Queens. I like chilling at home watching tv, listening to music (live or with my headphones on), going out dancing, exercising, dragonboat racing in the summers, and cooking (I try to be gluten, dairy, and soy-free and welcome taste testers). I have a theatre and costume design background but I currently work in the fashion industry in Midtown. If you like fashion, hair, makeup, and skincare, we will get along very well.
I'm a young professional who does environmental work with the NYC Parks Department. Currently living in Bushwick, but trying to find a spot a little closer to work/family. I'm a pretty quiet person - I enjoy having a peaceful home to come back to, and roommates who are friendly and communicative but recognize privacy. I like cooking, play a little music, and tend to enjoy spending time looking for the hidden natural areas in New York. Looking forward to meeting some like-minded folks!

I watch movies, hang out with friends, go explore different restaurants, go to concerts, try to travel as much as possible, and do community service.

We both love to cook and bake, and many roommates have benefitted from that in the past! I am a writer, musician, creative, and longtime professional in the service and hospitality industry. Maia is a recent grad who works in Public Health. We are both kind, communicative, and responsible.

Hello! I am Lamel an aspiring Personal Trainer/Entrepreneur life's ups and downs has put me in a tight situation so now I'm looking for a place to stay Lol. For starters cleanliness is next to Godliness I believe in cleaning up after yourself no matter where you are so I like to keep my things organized and put together. I am not one for drama, communication solves almost everything. If you want to use something of mines just ask if there any issues with anything I am doing just mention it no need for tension in a place that's supposed to be peaceful. I am a people person that likes to turn up from time to time but for the most part when I am home I like to stay to myself vibing out to music, playing video games, or reading not much of a television watcher unless it's Power or sports. I do have company but in a respectable fashion and I do like to cook normally for myself and or my company I don't like my food to be touched or tampered with without asking. I'll most likely will be working two jobs so I won't be home as much but overall I'm just a laid back, passionate, funny, outgoing guy looking for a place to rest my head and build my foundation.
I work Real Estate in Brooklyn NY I also attend school so I'm super busy. I love acting and reading and I enjoy quality cinema so if you are a movie person we are gonna get along. My passions include red wine, Jennifer Lawrence, movies, real estate, reading, writing and many more! I am a very chill person you won't find me partying a lot and I'm not a smoker. I work ridiculously hard and I have a few projects in the works right now so I put most of my energy and time into those things. If I am going to relax it's with some good wine and some good vegan food watching a movie or a tv show or reading a book. Let me know if you think we would get along!
I am a middle school art teacher working full-time in Brooklyn so during the week I am up and out by 5:45 a.m. and because I also run an after-school program, I am usually home around 7/8 pm. I have two dogs, both are 10 years old and I have had them both since they were born. They are potty trained, very well-behaved, quiet and the absolute sweetest animals to all living creatures. One is a 50 lb mix breed with short hair named Dook and the other is a 3 lb Chihuahua named Little (do not fret, she is not anxious or loud like most people would assume). For fun, I go out on the weekends with friends, usually for brunch and shopping. Otherwise, I'll be working-out or taking my pups to the park. I have my BFA in Art History and my MFA in Photography. I am well traveled and hard-working. I am a clean freak as well which is an oxymoron for most artists. I am going to be moving to Hawaii in July to pursue my PhD so I am looking for a 9 month lease.
Hi!! We are a couple looking for a good roommate situation, I work in finance and Christelle is a communications professional. We enjoy a cozy, joyful, and clean place to call home , and thats what you can expect from us as roommates.
I'm a very judge free and social person looking to connect with others that are similar. I enjoy cooking and making drinks occasionally for those around me. Richard is a all around comedian and enjoys making those around him laugh. We are very neat within the home and discreet when it comes to other peoples business, we mind our own. Respect, laughter and communication goes a long way.
Hey! I am looking for a sublet from June to Mid-August. I am taking classes at NYU this summer so I’m here for the summer. I have lived on and off in Brooklyn for several years, so I know the area fairly well! My boyfriend is also moving to the City from LA! He does stunts and other production work. We are hoping to find a place as soon as possible. Let us know if your place is still available!
Originally from NC, I have been living in the Tri-State area for 12 years. Of those 12 years, 9 have been in Brooklyn. It was love at first sight when I first discovered this wonderful borough. I am a Merchandise Manager for a fabric/furniture company and part time in hospitality. I love what I do at both places and work long hours. I consider home as a place to relax and recharge. Have a glass of wine, binge watch a netflix show, and just chill. I'm very laid back but respectful and a firm believer in keeping common spaces "visitor friendly". In my spare time, I enjoy exploring the city, experiencing new restaurants, and catching up on sleep in the city that never sleeps.
I am an artist working in the art department in the film and TV industry in New York. I love sci-fi, mystery, psychological thriller, comedy and indie films the most. I love reading, writing short stories, jamming to music (r&b, 60s-70s funk, hip hop, 90's pop, alternative, latin, reggae, dancehall and soca) and am always open to being introduced to different films, books and music. I love to cook, especially from scratch when I have the time. I do my best at being healthy and active, but pizza and ice cream, ah my weakness. I don't watch much TV series ironically, but I love Netflix. I love outdoors and traveling whenever it fits my schedule (and budget). A clean kitchen and bathroom mean a lot to me, they are my two favorite spaces in a home/apt aside from my bedroom. I don't mind socializing and hanging with my roomie, but I also love my private time. I am in a relationship and will sometimes be over at my boyfriends or vice versa, but I'll always be sure to respect the space and give a heads up. I am very big on open communication and honesty, not too into passive aggressiveness. I don't take things personally, I'm pretty fun and laid back. Mary Jane is also my friend if that's cool ;)
I'm a designer working in the city. I love going to museums and events around the city - so I'm good to ask for interesting stuff to do. I also love food and wine. I'm laid back - funny, I have good social skills. I really enjoy living in the city but I need to go camping every once in a while.
I love having fun! But I love my sleep too. Food is the love of my life so if you cook, we will be the best buds. I am easy-going and am big on clear communication because I hate confrontation/misunderstandings. It's important to me that everybody in one space is comfortable. I'm allergic to cats but I love them still, it's weird.
Hi, I'm an easy going 25 year old guy who like to eat good food, play music/sports, and learn new languages. I work at a non-profit in the international education field. I'm pretty clean and mild-mannered. I don't really party but I'm always down to grab a beer or two!
I'm a fun and pleasant person to live with who prefers open communication to passive aggressive notes. I love to cook and share meals with friends, and I clean up right after them too. Ideally, it's nice to spend time with roommates, but I'm respectful of their space and definitely understand the need for alone time in New York.
I am great to live with because not only am I am laid back person but I am very social as well. I have no problems with meeting new people and getting to know them. I spend most of my times with my newborn daughter and when I am not with her I am either working or just hanging out playing basketball or video games on my PS4. I also make sure to clean up after myself at all times which makes living with me a breeze.
