I’m going to be honest and say that I’m an acquired taste. Being a lifelong learner is central to my lifestyle exploration, my career’s evolution, and my personal sense of self-determinism. I’m an unapologetic polyamorist, kinky, womanist sex activist who’s also passionate about mental health & emotional wellness advocacy. I consider my home a restorative sanctuary and I’m adamant about protecting my peace.

While I’m not messy, I’m not a neat freak either. I believe everything should have its place, but anything that puts on display the charm and character of the homemaker is fair game. My goal is to create a warm, cozy, well-maintained space with minimal clutter and great style. I love green space and would like access to a backyard to grow my own garden and food. Also, I’d love to build a fire pit to use as an outdoor social space.

That being said, with the reality of COVID times upon us, I’m content of waiting until I find the right fit for me. Vibes matter and being an unapologetic, strong-willed, and enterprising Melanated woman, I’m not open to the everyday person mainly looking to supplement their lifestyle by opening up their home to a roommate.

I’m interested in meeting unique people from cosmopolitan, progressive backgrounds who lead a lifestyle by their own design. While I’m an omnivert who is her own best friend and doesn’t need to socialize often in order to ground myself, pre-COVID I prided myself on being an activated social butterfly in the once-thriving local mainstream Poly & Kink communities of Washington D.C. and Baltimore, MD.

I’m a woman of many skills and hobbies. Some of these include cooking, baking, developing my own organic natural skincare products, thrift shopping, recreational video game player, writing, editing, and self-publishing books, graphic design, podcasting, dancing, etc.

I’m seeking 1-2 coed LGBTQ-friendly roommate(s) who want more than a roommate situation but are open to a casual friendship filled with Netflix nights, homecooked meals, warm laughter, and good times. I have a few months (June 2021) before I’ll be ready to move, thus I’m taking the opportunity to begin my search now.
