Hi there! As a grad student in my 30s, I’m looking for a relatively quiet, chill place to live. I’m happy to spend free time alone, but it’s always nice to have a good relationship with the other people in the home. :-) My boyfriend tends to visit a couple days per week; and we are fine with either keeping to ourselves, or enjoying some dinner/movies/games/etc. with roommates. He spends most of his time at his parents’ place, however, which I can explain in more detail later. His 8-year-old son visits very sporadically to hang out (aka watch TV…lol) for a few hours before spending a weekend with the grandparents. I’m just looking for a mutually respectful, friendly, and clean/tidy roommate or roommates. Good communication is a huge plus, as I’ve found simply being honest and clear about boundaries and expectations can go a long way toward ensuring a harmonious living environment for all. P.S. The dog in the photo is not mine, though I loved her like she was. She was my sister’s beloved first pet who lived to the wonderful age of 17! <3
