I work as a FT Case Manager. I’m pretty laid back for the most part. I love kids and people but at home I keep to myself mostly. I do not create nor do I like drama. If you work with kids or families then you know the day can be stressful enough so once I get home I like for that to be a safe haven from the day. I am an African American straight female. I’m also Christian. I like a safe, clean, peaceful, and pest free home. If I cook, I clean up afterwards so I expect the same from the host renter just so that I do not have to cook on top of a dirty stove, counters or dishes in the sink. This is just courtesy for one another and it helps to keep bugs away. I will advise in advance if family or friends wish to visit me. I like for things to quiet down around 10 p.m. so that I can rest for work during the week. I’m introverted so the quiet time really is needed. I prefer an unfurnished room and private bath and that both can be locked. If furnished, no pest issues on the furniture or bedding…so new. I do not smoke or drink. I mind my business although I am always aware of my surroundings. Looking for a month to month or up to 6 month lease option. If you see that we get along well then I am open to a year lease. I prefer to rent from a female host renter. If you have child(ren) that is okay as long as they are respectful. If you have a pet, I love dogs but I do not pet sit. I also do not babysit children. I am looking to move in late June or early July. I love people. I love books, the beach, and volunteering. I work and try to mind own my business for the most part. That’s me. I have rented on this site before and had a positive experiences.
