Hello!

My name is AJ Rodriguez, I’m 24, and I’m interested in renting your room! I value a home with open communication and cleanliness; I am no stranger to brooms, mops, and soap and want to come home to a space that feels welcoming and not cluttered. I work as business development associate at a biotech company in Temple City with a typical Monday through Friday schedule.

My cooking habits mostly include meal prepping at the beginning of the week and then eating the leftovers throughout the week. Some of my favorite dishes to cook (and share) include fried rice, hamburgers stuffed with turkey bacon & cheese, bean & lentil stews, apple pie, and tiramisu.

A fun story about myself: I’m a chemist that loves making commercials and movies! In college, one of the ways I supported myself while studying chemistry (at UCSC) was by shooting, editing, and marketing content for businesses in Santa Cruz. These ranged from shooting a full blown throw-back advertisement themed from Fast Times at Ridgemont High for “All You Can Eat Pizza”. These were amazing and very fun experiences that allowed me to be creative outside of my lab research and studies.
