Hello there! I already have a roommate, but we’re open to a third so we can do 3 bedroom houses/apartments.

I’m going to be moving to Memphis later this year to attend UofM as a PhD student. I’m currently working full time in Southern CA - so it’s a big move. I’m bringing my cat with me (Marcus). He’s a super sweet boy, but I’m not sure how he’d do with other animals. So I’d prefer a roommate who likes kitties, but doesn’t currently have any pets. And doesn’t have toxic plants….

I’m a super bubbly person. I love painting, drawing, musicals (theater kid), and reading. I’m also very into swimming and working out at the gym. In terms of living habits, I’m a morning person who is very clean and organized - and would love a more formal roommate agreement to figure out things like chores and cleaning at the onset. I am also pretty sensitive to smells so sadly not very MJ friendly (at least in the house). I’d love to make a friend in my roommate and want someone who I get along well in both respects. I have a long-term boyfriend who will likely visit and want to be able to invite friends over (obviously with notice).

I come with furniture!! I have a loveseat and sofa as well as a nice vintage dining table and cabinet. I’ll be bringing a lot of kitchen supplies as well since I love to bake and cook (I’m in the kitchen often). But beyond that I’d love to decorate the place together! I’m actively on the apartment/house search since I make good money with my remote job currently, but will need to have a much tighter budget when I start my PhD program. Budget listed is the max for my share (including pet rent).
