Rhowenna
Female · 35 years · House Manager
Looking in: San Francisco, San Francisco County, CA.
Description
About me: I’m a full-time nonprofit professional working with San Francisco’s unhoused community, work I care about deeply. I’m a San Francisco native who values peace, routine, and a home that feels like a true sanctuary. I’m a parent to an energetic, curious 8-year-old boy who is enrolled in karate, soccer, and an after-school program, so our days have good rhythm and structure. I tend to keep to myself after long work days, retreating to recharge, but I genuinely enjoy organic connection when the moment is right. I appreciate shared spaces, shared meals when the opportunity arises, and the quiet comfort of living alongside people who respect each other’s energy.
Lifestyle & values: Working toward veganism and vegetarianism with opportunistic pescatarianism and meat, I am currently an omnivore. Food is something I love to cook and explore. Clean, organized, and considerate of shared spaces. I treat a home like a home, not a hotel. I’m drawn to music, art, hiking, nature, museums, and festivals. Culture and creativity are part of how I move through the world. I believe in giving people and animals time to feel comfortable before expecting warmth. I extend the same patience to housemates.
My household: I have two dogs, both under 25 lbs. They are quiet, trained, and calm. They keep me active. They may take a moment to warm up, but once they do, they’re wonderful companions. My son is 8 years old, academically bright, and genuinely kind. He has after-school activities that keep him engaged and occupied. He respects shared spaces. I’ve shared my life with fish, cats, rabbits, and birds. I understand that every animal has its own personality and timeline; I approach housemates the same way.

What I’m looking for
A calm, respectful household where my son and I can settle into a peaceful rhythm. I don’t need constant interaction; I need consistency, mutual consideration, and a space where coming home feels like relief. I bring the same to everyone I live with.
