I recently accepted a job in Manassas, VA as a Field Broadcast Engineer contracting with the Pentagon, White House, government agencies, military bases, etc. So after my initial several months of training in the Manassas area I’ll be traveling quite extensively throughout the country and world for several days and up to 2 weeks at a time. I love deep conversations and meeting new people from all different walks of life. I’ve lived all over the place, Originally from DC, have lived in Wisconsin, Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, Alaska, Colorado, then back to Arkansas, now moving to Virginia. I’m what you’d call an adventurous nerd, my hobbies are hiking, rock climbing, snowboarding, and mountain biking when outside, and when I’m inside building cryptocurrency mining computers, building 3D-printers and 3D-printing random things, reading science fiction novels, and binge-watching entire seasons of something while drawing concept designs. I’m also a night-owl and I don’t sleep much but when I’m up late I’m just on the computer with headphones on or reading a good book. My family and I built a house back in 2008 then my mother, Cara Brookins, wrote the book “Rise” detailing our tough experience and it went internationally viral throughout 2017, a movie deal followed shortly after with Lionsgate for them to make a movie about the events in the book. So if anything in a house breaks then I know how to fix it!
