I am a friendly, responsible, single, Christian, female professional in search of a drama-free, safe, and pleasant home environment. With B.A. and M.A. degrees in English and minors in business and education, I worked in the U.S. Congress for a decade followed by thirteen years in corporate communications, PR, and executive speechwriting at two major telecommunications corporations. Most recently I have been working various freelance projects in PR and communications.

My passions are writing and reading. Among my interests outside work are music, movies, books/literature, art appreciation/museums, church activities, Dallas Cowboys football, attending the ballet and symphony, watching my favorite TV shows, water aerobics, current events, and spending quality time with friends and loved ones. I enjoy laughter, curling up with a good book, meeting and getting to know new people, conversation, sharing ideas and experiences, and hanging out at Barnes & Noble (my happy place). As an independent woman, I also enjoy my quiet time for reflection, unwinding, or just for relaxing and rejuvenating.

My strengths include people skills, a kind heart, strong written and verbal skills, organization/management, strategic thinking and problem solving. I look forward to developing friendships because I believe we learn and become better individuals as a result of our relationships with others. It is through interaction with others that we develop a sense of our own purpose in life.
