I have a Border Terrier and bulldog / terrier mix who I share with my ex (who is staying in Ohio). They would be around part-time. When I say cat-friendly, I’m not kidding - they live with two cats now. Both love people, other dogs, walks and hikes. Outside of that they sleep all day on their dog bed.
