I am a responsible, considerate, and reliable renter with an extensive perfect rental history and cash reserves. I currently work full time in health care in Northridge, and will be attending classes again full time in the fall at CSUN, returning to work again part time. School is at least a 62 hour/week commitment, and I’ll try to work 15-20 hours/week on top of that, but I still find time to keep my living area clean and be respectful of my roommates. I’ve been a working professional in a different industry for many years, but started back in school again last year for a career change. (In other words, I’m not a young partying college student, ha ha.) As strong rental candidate with stability, I want to find a place that’s the right fit for me. This means living with people who are considerate and honest like I am, in a good study environment. Having my own bathroom is preferred, but I’ll consider sharing one for the right price. As a Dietitian/Nutritionist in training, kitchen privileges are important to me. Ideally there will be some storage area outside my room for items like dishes, toiletries, towels, and cleaning supplies. A larger room with more shelving/closet space could also work. I’m definitely interested in any options with separate living quarters, such as a guest house, and am prepared to pay more for additional space/features, but am not sure I’ll find an option like that in my search area. This website doesn’t allow me to post a range for my rental budget, so I used an average amount for the area I’m currently renting in. I’ve seen rental rates as low as $600 per month in my area, and am willing to consider up to $900 for a standard room rental, depending on features, possibly more for separate living quarters like a guest house.
