Merrit

My name is Merrit Landsteiner and I am looking to relocate from Chicago to LA September 1st or later. I’m not on my lease in Chicago so I am flexible. I know its hard to potentially live with someone you haven’t met in person but I would be happy to FaceTime to see if it would be a good fit. I think I am a quality roommate.

I have been an office admin at an architecture firm the past 4+ years. I pursue stand-up comedy at night the last 5 years. I am moving to LA for stand-up, I have enough saved to pay rent for several months before finding a job but will also be looking for a day job once I’m there. I have a car.

As a roommate I am clean and keep to myself but also can be friends if that’s something you’re interested in. I originally grew up on a farm with 2 younger sisters so I know how to share a bathroom and a space. I’ve had many different roommates over the years and can adapt easily to others. I like a quiet home - go to the party but don’t host it. My goal is $1000 or under for a private room.

I keep busy with stand-up at night so am gone a lot but also enjoying staying in with my dog. My dog is a 3 year old rescue. She’s 20 pounds and her name is LD (short for Larry David, she’s named after my favorite comedian). She’s very sweet and loves to cuddle next to someone when they watch tv. The plus to me having a dog is you would get the benefits of a dog without any of the responsibility.
