My name’s Michael — I’m looking for a room to rent, ideally for a few months with the possibility of staying long-term. I lived in Atwater Village for the past 10 years with my former girlfriend, and now I’m striking out on my own. I work at the Los Angeles Zoo and also as a security guard. I’m clean, responsible, and pretty quiet — I don’t have any pets and don’t really have a social circle in LA, so I mostly keep to myself. In my free time, I like watching movies and visiting my sister and her dogs in Venice Beach.

One thing I like to be upfront about: I’m not comfortable living in a place that’s had bug or rodent issues especially roaches.  I’ve had that experience once before and definitely don’t want to repeat it. Other than that, I’m super easy-going and friendly, just looking for a clean, decent place to call home.
