Hi there! I am searching for a peaceful place for myself, my husband, and our GREAT Dane, Penny, to call home. We are currently renting from family while saving to buy a home but would like more privacy for the duration. Here is a little bit more about us! I’m Tara, I’m 32, an accountant, and an old soul. I spend most of my free time alone, reading, writing, adventuring with Penny in this beautiful place we live, or just relaxing and cooking a nice meal. I love to cook and am quite good at it. I’m also a very clean person, so I’m cleaning as I cook, and cleaning to keep our spaces tidy and germ free. Not a neat freak, just a woman who takes pride in a clean and pretty space. Though I tend to keep to myself, I’m always willing to engage in friendly conversation. My husband is Kenny. He is 35, and a superintendent for a General Contractor. He’s a big, lovable, friendly, hardworking guy, and the handiest guy to have around. He works hard, and when he’s home he likes to relax with some TV or a good book. He’s a guy’s guy… the kind of guy other men want to befriend and the kind of guy most women search for. He likes to fish, get dirty, build things, work on his truck… man things :) We are a pretty happy couple – NO DRAMA. We are partners and best friends. We both agree on and practice giving one another space when we need it, and respect always. The most important member of our family is our “little” girl, Penny. She’s a 6 year- old (considered senior for the breed) 142 lb. blue merle great Dane with the sweetest temperament. We rescued her two years ago; she rescued us two years ago. She’s been the biggest blessing and addition to our little family. We don’t have children, nor plan to soon so she’s it. I’m not at all exaggerating when I say she is a perfect dog. She is housebroken, has never destroyed a single thing of ours, or even her own toys, doesn’t bark (except a single bark or two if someone is at the door), is best friends with the cat here, friendly with other dogs, and as gregarious as you’ve ever seen.
