My name is Donna and I’m a non-smoker. I am 58 years old and a huge animal lover. I have the best job in the world, I am a Dog Trainer and have my own business training at people’s homes for the past 3 years. I don’t have any dogs of my own at this time because of my crazy schedule but miss having my own terribly. So, I would love renting a room in a home with dogs, but it is certainly not mandatory. I do, however, have 3 indoor cats that have lived with dogs with no problem, but I prefer to keep them in my bedroom at all times. So, a decent sized unfurnished room is preferable with a private bath. The kitties sleep all day and hang out on my bed with me or look out my bedroom window when I’m home. I am very clean and quiet. Honestly, when I’m home I spend the overwhelming majority of my time in my room. I have my own bedroom furniture.

I can pay up to $1000 per month including utilities, prefer less of course, but will pay $1000 depending on the size of the available room.

For the past 5 years I have rented a room in a home in West Hills near the 118 and have an awesome roommate (the owner of the house), but just found out that her daughter will be moving into my room. I currently pay $900 per month including utilities. My landlord has given me 60 days notice, so it is not a major rush. But, for the right place, if necessary, I can move in sooner.

With my business, I see clients from the San Fernando Valley, West LA, and some of Ventura County. So, a location with easy access to those areas always helps.
