River & Kale

hello all :—) we are looking for a 3rd roommate to team up and find a spacious place together! our budget is $800-900 per person!

about Kale:

i’m a 26 year old remote content writer from Memphis with a slew of interests, like crafting, film photography, music of plenty of genres, tv and movies, and baking! my diet is carnivorous with no known allergies, and i love to cook in the home when i have the energy to. i keep a very tidy space and clean at some points during the day for 5 minutes away from my desk, and i am guaranteed to be home between the hours of 8 and 5. i wake around 7-7:30 every morning, and try to be in bed asleep by 10/11 on weeknights. i love having my friends over, hosting birthday parties and friendsgivings and whatnots, and usually have the same two friends over at least once a week. i’m a very social individual with a lot of interests, and am (usually) down to clown for fun stuff, but during the week you’ll probably catch me either at home or at a show! i have a 6 year old cat named Prudence who is also very social and sweet!

about River:

I’m a 25 year old youth educator/retail associate/artist (multimedia, photography, fiber arts, and graphic design). Some of my hobbies are crafting, baking, watching TV with Puddle, and going on walks. I love going on outings to museums, farmers markets, and thrift stores. I’m a vegetarian with no allergies but I don’t care one way or another if my roommates are vegetarian. I have an incredibly cute cat, Puddle, who is very chill, snuggly, and unproblematic. Since I work multiple jobs, my schedule is incredibly variable (and very busy!) but I’m guaranteed to be out of the house working at least 25 hours a week. Not often but sometimes I work late-ish hours (getting home around 10:30) but I’m quiet. With my current schedule I usually wake up any time between 7:30-9am and go to sleep anywhere between 10-11:30pm (but am usually in my bedroom at least an hour prior to sleeping). I love a balance of social and solo time! I need solo time to recharge especially after long days at work but I also love having friends over once a week or so, sleepovers every so often, and want the flexibility to host social gatherings like Kale described!

what we are looking for in a roommate:

-24 years or older, femme/nonbinary/trans folks only ❤️ -4/20 friendly!! alcohol in the home can be discussed if there’s need to, but both of us are regular tokers! -open communication, base level respect, compassion, and empathy are a MUST. we want to live in a comfortable, communal space where boundaries are accepted and respected, and disagreements/issues are led with kindness! -reasonably clean, clutter is okay but dirty is not -able to pay between $800-$900 for their portion of monthly rent -no more animals, sorry! -friendly enough to cook meals together, share a movie night with, be in a comfortable space with one another! -willing to assist with cat feedings when either of us are away (kale can usually take care of this being remote, but kale travels sometimes as well!)
