I am primarily interested in Santa Rosa, as that is where my job is located, but I am open to housing options that are up to a 30 min commute away.

I work full-time (sometimes remotely) from The Bird Rescue Center and work on art commissions or plan/research for my rehab work in my free time.

I have roomed with others before and think that would be the best option right now with the current housing prices. I am flexible as far as scheduling and pets (I do all the maintenance, care, and costs required for my own and expect others to do the same for theirs). I tend to keep myself busy and let others do their own thing as well, so if you are shy and feel more comfortable on your own I totally get it! However, I think communication is essential in rooming when it comes to finances and house responsibilities - so being comfortable talking about that would be a requirement for me.

I have a piebald ball python who would remain in my room exclusively (unless someone is also a snake person haha), and an outdoor coop for my small flock of very friendly rescued homing doves - so my only requirement would be finding property that would allow me to place my coop outside. I am also a falconer, but no space and time for a bird right now. If you share any of my interests, though, or are also into animal- or biology-related fields, I’d LOVE to talk! :D
