My name is Niko. I am looking for a leftist vegan and preferably queer roommate to share a 2+ bedroom apartment in NW DC. My budget is around $1500 and if yours is similar we can get a good place.

I’m a working student getting my certification in AWS and have been living in DC since July 2022. Grew up in the DMV. I’m a lover of Star Trek, music, and working outside, especially with my hands. Very rustic and into earthy things like rains, forests, mountains, and the colour green. I’m very quiet and reserved, but get along great with people on a similar spectrum.

Please, please, please be honest about your qualities as a roommate. I’ve dealt with (and currently dealing with) roommates who have lied to live with. I’m just tired of bad living situations and would like peace of mind. I would honestly get a place by myself but I’m considering another as it would be nice to have a another person around.

I have high standards for cleanliness, privacy, and being courteous. I’m very understanding, but I’m on the spectrum and I would like our home to be a safe haven. Looking for someone willing to put in as much effort as me into house hold responsibilities and building a home.

Not smoking/alcohol friendly. It’s okay if you have a drink every once in a while. Though definelty no smokers, weed included. No judgment though on those who do :)

Not a huge fan of living with dogs but not opposed to well-behaved cats (as in they don’t pee/poop outside of the litter box, that’s about it, haha)
