Hi, my name is Jonathan, and I am currently looking for one or two roommates in Sacramento (postal code will vary but will be located in Sacramento) to band together and rent an apartment or house (whatever is available and financially doable). The goal is to move around the beginning of March into a reasonably priced apartment/house in the Sacramento region.

I recently got hired as a student intern for CalFire, so I am moving from SoCal to the capitol! I am a Sac State Alum and am currently attending Folsom Lake College remotely. I consider myself very personable, clean, and responsible. I do have a medium sized dog named Luna who is a bit timid but warms up to other dogs quickly. She is a people dog mainly.

The goal is to have rent and utilities within the range of 6-700/mo (give and take depending on the market). I am smoker (herb) and LQBTQIA+ friendly. Students are also welcome! Couples are acceptable as long as the rent compensation is 1.5x the individual rent (so, if rent is 650 a person, for a couple in one room it would be 975 or so instead of 1300).

More than one pet beyond my own dog would depend on the location’s landlord which we decide. Furthermore, we will also discuss animal deposits/rent if the place we decide to move into is open to more than one animal. We will also discuss the rent deposit, which will vary beyond location.

Overall, I am super flexible regarding roommates and am pretty chill with “house rules”. I do not understand people who require so much from random roommates beyond basic adult cleanliness, courtesy, and responsibilities.
