Look here if you would like to know what it’s like to live with a Swede! My name is Alfred, I’m 24 years old, and I’m originally from Sweden but I’m here in Orange County for a civil engineering internship and in need of someplace to live. My friends would describe me as easy-going and independent. I am an active person that likes to workout and hang out with friends. In Sweden I just completed my bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and I will spend my gap year, in before starting my masters degree, interning for a civil engineering company in OC. I work a pretty normal 8-5 schedule so in the weekdays I’ll be working mostly. I am a social, friendly person and because I’m moving to OC from Sweden I am not only looking for accomodation but also to get to know new people. I like to go to the gym, play racket sports, but I also love spending my free time with friends doing whatever comes to mind that day which could be everything from going to the movies to grabbig a beer. As a roommate I like it when it’s tidy and I always do my part to keep it that way. I really enjoy cooking and I would not mind eating a meal or two together. I want my house to be a place where I can have people over, but not a place that’s constantly full of people. I would like to move in as soon as possible. I’m looking for a place in Costa Mesa/Newport Beach/Huntington Beach but since I’m working in Fountain Valley I’m also open for places in that general area as well, but I would like to be close to the beach if possible. I have a maximum budget of $1200 but can be flexible depending on the place and people living there.
