I am a 62 year old retiree. I have however obtained a part time job. I am quiet, clean and kind of a homebody. My passion is reading. I always have a book to read. Preferably historical fiction. I am a Veteran. I do enjoy going to the movies and I enjoy good people who have a good sense of humor. I came here 4 years ago to Las Vegas from NJ. I left my grandchildren who I adore and adore me because my Mom and Dad asked for help. 2 years ago we had to put them in an assisted living environment. My Dad passed in October of 2017. I still see it as my responsibility to visit and encourage and assist my mom with whatever she needs. That is why I would like to stay in Henderson, as the Assisted Living is in Henderson. I am adaptable, I can get along with anyone. I have decided to try to stay in NV for now, as my daughter is considering relocating from NJ to NV in the next 2-3 years, I hope to find a safe and affordable place to live, while also saving resources to eventually find a place of my own.
