Ebony

Student in need of room that is OK with cats (I have 2, both are fixed).

My name is Ebony, I just turned 31 yrs old this month. I currently attend UNLV and also work. Right now, I take summer classes and may go to school part time. I sometimes use my student loans as a form of income, if needed. I am a chemistry major that is on the Pre-Medical track at UNLV. Also, I currently work a part time job that does have the chance to earn more hours, and I am also waiting for a full time position offer to be sent to me, so I would be earning more. But, at the moment, I can only afford about $750-800 per month. I also know that my pets would be taken into consideration, but I do receive the student discount for the subscription services (Netflix, Hulu, etc.) so that is something I can offer along with what I can afford right now. I am hoping to find a place that I can stay for about 6 months to 1 year, preferably 1 year since everything I have been dealing with has been extremely stressful.

I have 2 fur babies, my cats (1 female, Milyy [Mee-lee]/1 male, Miko [Mee-koh]) are both sweet and friendly. The boy, Miko is such an outgoing sweetheart that is also talkative. They both get very talkative when they hear the word “treats” lol. My cats are very close to me and “attached to my hip”, so they will always be wherever I am, and if I am not there, they would definitely keep to the room I would be staying in. They do this at the current place I am residing at. The only one who would probably come around more will possibly be Miko. Milyy does need/takes time to know her surroundings and the people. By the way, I am a plant parent, so I have lots of indoor house plants as well, and would keep in my area if needed (they are free of pests, too).

I am very clean and organized. I tend to keep to myself as I stay pretty busy throughout the year. I am very respectful and always clean up after myself. I also do have my own dishes if that makes it more comfortable. I love to bake when I am able to find free extra time and try to learn different recipes, so I can also offer yummy baked goods.

I can provide my own furnishings if needed OR if it will bring the rent for the room down lower. I am moving out of an ex-boyfriend’s and would like to find a room that I’m able to afford and can bring my cats, too. I know finding a place that is okay with pets is going to be difficult to find, but hopefully someone can see that my cats and I will be great roommates for you and will not be a bother at all.

My job is towards Spring Valley/Summerlin area and my other job that I am waiting for would most likely be at UMC, or possibly some surrounding hospital. Although I do not want to drive far for my job/school, since we all know gas prices are ridiculous right now lol, I cannot be picky or complain about where the location would be, as long as my cats are welcome & affordable.
