Luke

I’m Luke. Originally from New York, went to Duke for undergrad, lived in Spain and Berkeley and Massachusetts before arriving in San Diego a few months ago. For work, I run my own personal coaching/tutoring business, so I spend a good chunk of my week (about 15-20 hours) on calls from my desk at home or meeting up with local clients in person. Beyond that, I try to get out of the house as much as possible (working at coffee shops or a friend’s place), for my own sanity. I also work four nights a week at a Spanish tapas restaurant on Garnet called Costa Brava (I get a nice discount, in case you like Spanish wine, cheese, ham, etc. :) Outside of work, I try to live a healthy lifestyle and stay active – physically, socially, intellectually, in all ways. I like to hike and camp, swim, get outside and meet new people, read, philosophize, shoot the shit, play basketball, watch good movies, meditate, cook (homemade bread, Spanish tortilla – always a little extra for the roomies). I also love music and play the guitar. As a housemate, I’m respectful, responsible, and just easy to be around. I keep both private and common space clean, really value direct and honest communication, and want my home to be a comfortable, warm place without tension or drama. Reach out if you’re interested!
