I own a nice house but my house is 1.5 hrs away from where I work as a High-end security agent in the city. I will only be there a maximum of 16 days a month. I basically just need a place to crash down after work. Some months, maybe half of that or none at all due to other work travel. I also work midnights and will only be there from 6AM to 6PM. Other than that, I’m a very clean person and keep a low-profile. The only trash I have will be water bottles and used cleaning supplies. I usually eat out. The only electric I need is just the light and charging my phone. A refrigerator is not necessary. I can turn off any heat or air conditioner when I’m not there or provide my own.
