Hi Reader-

I am Valerie and I am a 26 year, single straight female with a cute & cuddly Russian Blue cat looking for a roommates to rent with! Smokey (my cat) is very clean, cuddly, playful, and loves people. I am ok with keeping Smokey’s litter box in my room as I know some folks would prefer that. I am flexible with dates and can move anywhere before June 27 although the sooner the better (I am already in SF but switching jobs). You’ll have to let me know how flexible your dates are.

What I do for work: I have been working in housing at SFSU for the past 3 years, but I will be ending that role and starting work from home at Williams Sonoma corporate. I’ll be working from home until they reopen the office, then I’ll be working near Ghiraldeli Sq. all day for the most of the week days. Even on my work from home days, I’ll most likely find a coffee shop or other place to work from since I am not much of a homebody.

About my personal life: I am very laid back, enjoy running, fitness, art, restaurants, beer, music, taking pictures, hanging in the park, and overall anything active! I am very open minded, adventurous and enjoy trying new foods and activities. I am very adaptable to my surroundings so get along with new folks well.

My ideal roommate(s): I am hoping to find a cool group of roommates to live with, be friendly with, and are tidy and kind. I’d hope we can be friendly most of the time but also respect each other’s alone times. I am a clean person and like to have a place for everything. I am not huge on rules because I will take over the chores I personally care about - so no fuss here! I want to have a laid back, friendly, respectable living environment where everyone can feel relaxed and at home. We can talk about what that means for you!

Logistical Info: My budget is maxed at $1300, but would like to stay closer to $1000. I do not have any furniture, but am happy to shop Facebook marketplace to furnish our place or we can find a furnished place. I also have a lot of kitchen supplies. I have a car so I’d like to be somewhere with convenient parking. I plan to use public transport too so I’d hope to live somewhere close to Bart or.Muni.
