Megan

Hello! My name is Megan or Meg (she/hers). I’m 22 years old and have a WFH job. I’m looking for roommates to start the apartment search with. I am seeking long-term housing, max budget $880. Move-in date ideally June 1 or earlier, but it can be flexible. I’ve mostly been searching in Brooklyn and Queens, but I am open to looking elsewhere. Since I work from home, a commute isn’t an issue for me. I have a disability that affects my mobility so I couldn’t do more than the third floor if there is no reliable elevator. Laundry in-unit or in-building would be fantastic. I will need space for a desk in the room. The work I will be doing entails transcription and translation, so a quiet environment during the day is necessary.

I clean up after myself and I am shy at first, but once you get to know me, I come out of my shell. I’d like to live with people that I can get to know/be friends with but I still want to do my own thing in the apartment sometimes. I am a very direct communicator. I’m not the biggest partier, but I like to have fun sometimes! Alcohol and 4/20 friendly. Pro-abolition. I am fully vaccinated. I would prefer to live in an area that is more busy than residential, in a building that is new rather than old.
