Good day! I’m a quiet and animal-loving fellow looking for a place to stay while I work at a local bird rescue and study at the SRJC. I tend to be somewhat reserved, friendly, and work/school-oriented, so I’m looking for folks that are similarly independent, kind-hearted, and tone it down at night.

I’m looking for a place with my husband, Hélder. He’s currently in the process of immigrating from France and won’t be approved to work until next fall, so he occupies his time volunteering at The Bird Rescue Center. He’s looking forward to studying game design at the SRJC and his hobbies include writing and testing video games.

As someone who works in an animal field, it’s not surprising I have animals of my own, so I’m seeking pet-friendly accommodations! I’ve got three (very quiet and contained) rats and, as a licensed falconer, I also have a hawk. All of them have lived successfully in a dorm environment, and the hawk’s also lived in a rented room in a house, a garage, and a dog kennel in the yard, so there’s plenty of ways to accommodate her.

Of note to anyone with gender preferences, I’m transgender, Hélder is cis, we both use he/him/his pronouns.
