Hi, my name is Kate. I am a young professional graduating this May with a bachelor’s in Government. I currently work full-time in legal services, but I am transitioning into an on-site civil service position in local area on May 24th. I’m originally from the suburbs of Atlanta, GA, though my family is from South Africa. I love traveling! I also enjoy working out, including lifting weights, yoga, hiking, and trying new things in and out of the gym. My other hobbies include cooking and baking, skincare, thrift shopping, and reading. My favorite things to read are the Economist, science fiction or nonfiction, and recent histories Although I’ve lived in on-campus housing for the past four years, I also have lived in apartments with other women over the past three summers in NOVA. I prefer everything to be clean and organized, and I adore housekeeping. However, it honestly takes a lot to bother me in terms of noise or mess made by roommates. I haven’t had any roommate conflict issues. While I have a small circle of friends in western Loudoun, I’m not looking for a place to invite groups of people over. I am seeking roommates with whom I can live in mutual respect for our separate lives (I highly value privacy, space and boundaries. )– but I would also be down to share a bottle of wine and a movie some nights!
