Hello beautiful people, We are two girls in our early 20's looking for a third roommate to keep us company in our 3rd floor, 1700 square foot apartment. We are located less than a block off the Berwyn redline stop, two blocks from the Berwyn Bus stop, and right off the Foster exit on Lakeshore Drive (which means we are right by the Foster dog beach!). We will have been here for two years as of this May and we love the place too much to move out now, so we are hoping to find someone wonderful to replace our current roommate, who will be moving out this spring. The location is fabulous; Mariano's is 2-3 blocks away, Jewel Osco is about a block, and there are several restaurants, fast food options, and markets within walking distance. One of us is wrapping up a Bachelor's at Loyola Chicago and I will be teaching full time come August, so we are looking for someone who can be respectful and understanding of student and school lifestyle and habits in the house. Ultimately, we are just looking for a nice guy or girl to live with for the next year. We are both pretty Type B when it comes to personality and we like to think we are pretty chill people overall so nothing crazy, good vibes only. Unfortunately, the lease doesn't approve pets (even though we love them) and the unit only has one bathroom (so we hope you don't mind sharing). Other than that, laundry is downstairs and is coin opperated (annoying, we know) and the landlord and her family (they live on the first floor) are really nice and understanding. Also since we have been here for awhile, we have accumulated a bit of furniture and what not, you know things that make a house a home. So feel free to bring some items, but no need to feel obligated other than for your own room. Feel free to reach out with any questions; We're looking forward to hearing from you! Cheers, Annie and Taylor
This place is amazing. Right on Sheridan near tons of public transportation, shops , and restaurant. The complex has pretty great ameinites including a doorman. The best part the beach is our backyard. I'm looking to fill the vacancy immediately. They is also monthly valet parking for purchase
This 3BR/2BA garden unit is well-maintained and located in the Edgewater neighborhood, just a block away from the Bryn Mawr Red Line and two blocks away from the Thorndale Red Line station. Just a five minute walk away from the apartment is Edgewater Beach, Lake Shore Drive and the adjacent walking/biking trail. Also, another five minute walk from the apart is a Starbucks, Subway, liquor store and assorted restaurants/food joints. I work as a nurse from Thursday to Mondays from 7AM-330PM, with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off. My roommate also works full time as a caregiver, and her hours vary each week. We are both very laid back and are looking for a roommate who is able to make rent payments on time, respectful of the living space and willing to do their part to keep the apartment clean and presentable. You would have your own bathroom, which is located in the living room area, and have the opportunity to share the living room space. If you have any more inquiries, please feel free to contact me.

Room available in a two bedroom apartment in Edgewater off the Thorndale red line. Two blocks from the train and two blocks from the beach. Close to Loyola University, Whole Foods, Aldi, CVS, Walgreens and lots of restaurants. Rent is $570/month plus utilities (electricity, gas and internet). I am a student at Columbia College Chicago with one more semester left looking to rent out the room to someone from the end of August/beginning of September to the end of May, with options to sign a new lease. Anyone is welcome to contact me about the apartment.
I'm a chemist and registered nurse. I love music, sports (running, biking, hiking, surfing, etc.), friends, family, etc. Am a clean and easygoing roomie, looking for the same.
I am a composer by trade, currently going back to school for my Master's. I have a fondness for foreign language and it is by far my biggest obsession. I am a smoker, but I only smoke outdoors and am very clean. I have had many non-smoker roommates, including my father who is deathly allergic, and have had no complaints. I have shared custody of a dog, but he need not stay with us, if you take issue. I can always visit him at my ex's condo.
Hey! I'm Rachael! I'm pretty chill. I get along with most people and I'm always looking to make new friends. I grew up in the suburbs and have lived in Chicago for 4 years. I'm a music teacher and violinist. For fun, I enjoy spending time with my friends, trying new restaurants, or going to Cubs games.
I am moving into my condo at the end of May and am looking for a preferably female roommate. I will not be home often, as I am in school and work nights. I do have sweet, low key Great Pyrenees. The condo itself has a lot of vintage charm that I'm sure anyone can love!
I'm a recent grad who likes to cook, play video games, read, watch football, and have a good time. An occasional cigar and nice whiskey are my only real vices. I periodically like to play board and card games. Looking for someone who isn't interested in having a party house. I love the occasional get together, but I am really looking for someone who wants a relaxing home base and likes having a good time.
Clean, respectful, quiet, organized, outgoing, friendly, and a jack of all trades, I work downtown as an engineer so any minor maintenance or work requests I can assist with. From Chicago originally, looking for a reliable roommate.
I Am a all around great person to live with because I'm responsible, respectable, friendly, cleanly, I communicate well, I am goofy, and I am reallly cool. You'll have the best experience living with me.
Hi my name is Aviva, I am a hard working hairstylist with a steady job looking for a room to rent in Chicago or the north suburbs. I am quiet and easy-going, I keep to myself and am respectful of others' privacy. I like to keep a clean home, especially in common areas. If I sound like someone you could live with and you have a room to rent, send me a message or give me a call. I look forward to hearing from you.
I am a 20-year old senior undergraduate student. I study Air Traffic Management and Aeronautical Engineering distantly in an online regime and work as a receptionist in a salon.I have been living in Chicago since May and really enjoyed this city) Unfortunately my lease ends soon, so I explore apartments to move to somewhere around October 1-st. I am very open-minded and down to earth person, who gets along almost with everyone. I love to maintain cleaniness both in my room and common areas. Talking about my interests, they are directly connected to aviation and space technologies. I can talk a lot about aircraft manufacturers, flying and even aerodynamics once at a time…At free time and on weekends people can usually find me either meeting with friends at a local park, studying (often), reading books (like psychological thrillers, dystopian novels and simple funny stories of Marc Twain and O. Henry) or watching favorite TV series (Game of Thrones, House of Cards, Friends…). Hope you haven’t thought of me as a complete nerd! Telling the truth, I am really into living a full life, not smoking, enjoying nature, travelling and meeting new people. I am enthusiastic about everything new. Also, I am very animal-friendly and love dogs more than people sometimes)
I'm finishing my doctorate at Northwestern University, but love living in Chicago. Looking for a place to live from March to at least the fall! I have a steady income, am pretty clean, and wouldn't mind having a roommate!
I am a 18 year old Bosnian female and have been living in Chicago for 4 years. I am a friendly and respectful female. I love makeup and fashion. I don’t make noise and I’m clean. I love animals. I speak fluent English and Bosnian and I understand and speak some Spanish.
Hi, I'm looking for a place so I can finish my semester at school. Just ended a relationship and am looking for a room. asap. I have a cat, but that is up for debate whether I keep him or she does. Very amicable parting FYI. I am a gamer and I love film and the arts. I'm exceptionally chill and sociable. We can grab a beer or just hang at home. BTW I cook a lot, and I will definitely cook you food every so often. Feeding people makes me happy. Anyways, hit me up if you have a room anywhere in the northish side (Andersonville, Uptown, Edgewater, Rogers Park, Avondale, Wrigley, Belmont area.) Close to the red line is a huge plus!
Hi my name is Rachel and I'm a recent college grad looking to move into a great apartment with some awesome roommates! I'm looking to live with other women my age who would enjoy spending time together – although I am an introvert, so I'm pretty lowkey and quiet. I also love to cook, stay active (always looking for a workout buddy), and I'm a writer by profession (I also love to read, so if you're looking for book recommendations, I'm your girl!). I'm very neat and organized, so you won't have to worry about me wrecking your place :).
I clean up after myself and am mindful of communal spaces. I'm rather low-key and appreciate open communication-- mutual respect is a must for me. I'm queer and my partner lives in Edgewater, and so finding a place that I feel comfortable occupying and that my partner feels comfortable visiting is important to me. I enjoy reading, being outside, cooking, and spending time with friends-- although I'm not a very loud person. I love breakfast food-- at any time of day. I actually like doing dishes.. And poor shower pressure frustrates me more than it should.
- project manager for a restoration company & Air Force Reservist (that means I'll be gone at least one weekend a month) - I work in Park Ridge - easy to get along with, considerate (turning down music while you nap, etc.) - I like whiskey
My name is Sindre, I am 23 years old and I´m from Norway and I´m graduating in May from North Park with a B.A in Media Studies! I´m looking for a job as well as I´m looking for a place to live for a year. I´ve been here in Chicago since August 2015 and I love it here, and therefore I want to stay here for a year or more after I Graduate! I´m fairly quiet when I´m home, love to watch tv shows, movies, go to concerts, play boardgames/video games, biking and so forth. Love to travel and try new places to eat and go to fun events (5Ks, festivals such as art, music etc). Feel free to ask me more if you´d like.
I'm clean! Love living in a clean environment. I'm also a massage therapist, so there's that lol. I'm pretty lowkey, don't party a whole lot. Im a songwriter and am usually working on music, so that keeps me busy. I dont come with any pets, but love them all.
I'm looking for a room available 6/1. I'm pretty laid back, mostly keep to myself but am always down for a chat. I work daytime hours (7-4) as a vet tech in Lakeview so I don't get super rowdy during the week. I'm a big advocate for the "clean as you go" initiative and like to keep a (at least relatively) tidy space and overall consider myself a very respectful roommate. Let me know if you have any further questions!
Hi, I’m originally from Southern California, but came to Chicago for school. Recent grad who just started my career in finance downtown. Will be very busy with work so I will like to just chill on weekdays. I enjoy going out on weekends. I love watching sports and played soccer in college so I like to stay active. I’ve lived with 5 girls for two years so I know the importance of respect and boundaries. I am social but I also like to do things on my own. I like to keep things clean and organized within my space, but you can live however you what in yours. I am pretty laid back and look forward to living with you!
I'm a super fun flight attendant and part-time makeup artist. I won't be home a ton because I work a lot, but I'm super friendly and tend to get along with just about everyone. I'm not a loud roommate. Not super messy or a clean freak - just in the middle. Also, I have a background in interior design, if you care about making our space extra cute.
I'm moving from Puerto Rico for a job offer at one of the universities in Chicago, where I'll be working on research projects related to LGBT health and HIV prevention. I'll be at work most of the day and at night I like to unwind with a bit of Netflix or a book. I like to go out, but I won't bring the party home. I'm a decent baker and could probably teach you a bit of Spanish.
Hello! My name's Michael and I've been in Chicago for a bit over a year now. I graduated college a bit ago work in the Loop in a corporate office downtown 40+ hours a week. A bit about myself. I'm 23 and I graduated with a Philosophy degree and some STEM background and might pursue a Master's in Engineering at UIC. I'm pretty open minded, liberal, and have had several close LGBT friends. I'm a bit nerdy but very down-to-earth. I like playing video games, hanging out, and the occasional drink with friends. I try to go outside and stay active (biking, skateboarding, window-shopping). I'm a pretty chill dude and I like to be fair to everybody, and I'm down if you wanna be just roommates or good friends.
I'm a first year student from Brazil, enrolled in Loyola University of Chicago's Master/Specialist program in School Psychology. I also work at their library, so if you've got questions about books or citations, I'm your guy! I am a bit of a homebody, I prefer to stay at home playing games, watching stuff online, and working through my very heavy load of reading and school assignments. This also means that I like to keep my living space clean and organized, as I don't like feeling like my surroundings are not well-kept. I really like animals, cats in special, and I also lift weights, hence why I'd like to stay near Roger's Park, near their Anytime Fitness. Looking for places as close as possible to the Loyola and Granville stations.
Work at a clinic in uptown. Born and raised in Chicago, just trying to move out of my parents house. I'm very neat and clean, mostly keep to myself. Not much of a partier and if I do, i don't throw em, I attend em! My close friends are pretty chill too if they ever do come over. I don't smoke cigarettes, don't play loud music. I am friendly and open to being friends with my roommate. Love watching my shows, listening to my music, eating good food, and exploring the city with friends. 420 friendly
I am not a Trump supporter, first off. The rest of this description is a quick work in progress but I had to put that out there right off. I enjoy solitude but am also up for sharing cooking and meals together (or not). I like long walks at the lake (where I currently live), or reading there, and I also love walking around neighborhoods, looking at gardens, home architecture and people. I currently work in healthcare, and am a past cosmetologist and also a massage therapist. I've been flirting with becoming vegetarian again - almost there. I am a Chicagoan but have lived in NYC, Atlanta, Colorado and New Mexico over the years. Most recently was Santa Fe, in an attempt to 'start over' but that didn't quite work out. I've been divorced for 5 years after 21 years of marriage. I have been living alone since then and spending way too much on rent and bills with nothing left over for traveling. That's the main reason I've come to this site - I want to trade living alone with my cat in a one bedroom apartment with sharing a space and having some breathing room. By the way, I may be 60 but I know my rocknroll and have also been a political activist for most of my adult life, even though I've stepped back in recent years.
