I will be showing the apartment this Saturday, November 17th from 2-7. To schedule a viewing please write me an email telling me a little bit about yourself. Simple apartment in a trendy neighborhood, on a safe block. The front of the apartment building is unassuming yet kept, however once inside the apartment, you’ll be greeted with high ceilings, hardwood flooring, modern appliances and a cozy room for you. The neighborhood has everything you need in walking distance with the merchant rich Fulton Street/Nostrand Ave being 10 minutes by walking. Train station (G) is 2 minutes away. A and C train 8-10 minute walk, Police station and local park 2 blocks away. Gyms about 12-15 Minute walk, Home Depot - 5 minute walk. Cleanliness is expected in the common spaces as this is shared, a simple sweep of the hallway, scrub down of the bathroom, throwing out the trash etc. WiFi, heating/gas and electricity are included in the rent, I made it fixed so that way it’s easy to manage, just be mindful of that and don’t abuse it (ie things staying on when you’re not actually home). Rent is 900 a month for the brown room, 1200 for the larger room. There are no “deposits.” Attitudes and psychotically aggressive behaviors are not welcome. At all. Cigarettes should be smoked outside, Mj is fine inside. If you’re a belligerent drinker, party personality, like bringing a crowd home at ungodly hours of night, please do not apply. At all. *This apartment is for mature adults who are aware that they are living with others and value a clean space with minimal noise. Any questions? Send a message.

Just moved into this beautiful first floor apartment! Very spacious, lots of light, garden/patio area available, tons of storage: cabinets, built-in bookshelves and linen closet. Washer and Dryer in basement (basement can also be used for storage). The kitchen and bathroom are shared, the kitchen is very spacious. I live in the living room but there's a private bedroom available. It's pretty small (7'x8') but there's a window facing the backyard and you're totally welcome to chill in the living room (it's a bed and TV, essentially). *also there are bookshelves, I don't think I'll need both so you're welcome to share bookshelves* I'm gone for the majority of the week, come back at nights. I tend to be both a night owl and early bird. I sleep easily and heavily so if you're up at all hours of the day or worried about waking me up after a late night of socializing, I promise I won't wake up. Pets allowed upon approval. Gas, hot water and heat are all included in rent. Additional utilities are internet and electric (in total, about $60/month). No AC but we got plenty of fans. Heaters in every room. I'm looking for a male or female suitemate who's just down to earth and keeps their mess to themselves. I'm a 2D Animation major at Pratt so I can say with confidence that it's great for anyone enrolled there or just lives in the area. Limit friend visits to 1-3 people, just for the sake of keeping the place quiet (might change as I get to know you... I'm kinda shy but also always down for movie nights, stranger or not). I just want to respect the other tenants quiet space. Treat others as you'd like to be treated blah blah. Really don't care if people sleep over (within reason). As for myself, I'm an easy going person who's just too busy for her own good. I tend to keep to myself and if that's how you roll too, then hey, awesome. If not, I would also be down to be a drinking buddy. I don't really like parties but if you want to have a small get-together with people in the garden, that's cool. I'm very open and friendly. I'm a huge advocate for roommate communication (not huge on passive aggressive post its). I don't care if you're clean or messy. Just don't be dirty. I despise cockroaches so I'm careful about clutter and food lying around. Don't know if this was too long or not... If you have any more questions, feel free to ask!!
Looking to find 2 roommates to fill up this beautiful fully renovated apartment. The apartment itself is huge, lots of living space, and the bathroom is very large as well with plenty storage space. All renovations were finished this month so the place is in great shape, very clean and fully equipped. The location is ideal. Located in Clinton Hill, 6 mins from the G train on the Bedford - Nostrand stop. It's right next to a supermarket, cafes, laundromats. And perfect for Pratt students, 12 mins walk from campus. About me, I'm very clean and respectful person. I'm a student at Pratt studying art direction, so a lot of the time I will be busy with projects. I have a cat, he's very sweet and social, loves to cuddle and play. I'm looking for someone chill but that cleans up after themselves. Move in cost of 1st and security is for applicants with credit and income or strong guarantors.
ABOUT THE APARTMENT We're looking for someone to move into a big, sunny, private room in our two-story, 3 bedroom apartment in the heart of Bed Stuy. The room is south facing, with lots of light and a big closet. It's fully furnished with a double bed, desk, and side table, but can be empty if you want to bring your own furniture. We're looking for someone to move in sometime between September 15 - October 1st, and ideally stay longterm (lease renews in August) but the end date is flexible. The apartment is spacious with a private backyard, washer/dryer, 2.5 bathrooms, and a lot of plants. There are two floors, with all the bedrooms upstairs, and all the communal space downstairs. The apartment is about 5 minutes away from the G train, and takes ~30 minutes to get to Manhattan. It's a quick bike ride to Bushwick, Williamsburg, Clinton Hill, and Crown Heights. We're looking for someone who is easy-going, clean, and respectful. ABOUT US We are a couple (30 yr/o male graphic designer & 31 yr/o female yoga studio manager) as well as a 30 yr/o female working at NYU. There's also a cat who is friendly and very chill. We have lived here for 4+ years. Our collective interests include camping, rock climbing, riding bikes, reading books and graphic novels, yoga, surfing, watching movies, and playing video games and board games. We value coming home to a space that is comfortable, quiet, and tidy. RENTAL REQUIREMENTS No cigarette smokers One month deposit Sublease Roommate Agreement (says either party can give 1 month notice of move out)
APARTMENT. The apartment has two floors, 4 bedrooms, 2 common areas, a gym setup, a small storage room, and a backyard with a giving tree, BBQ, and outdoor speaker set up. The kitchen (fully stocked) tends to be our primary common area, however; the basement is huge (only 1 bedroom in the basement), has couches, an office set up with a scanner/printer, speakers, and a gym setup with a weight bench, squat/barbell rack, super-curl bar, free weights, push-up bars, parallets (for dips, resistance bands), a mixed-grip pull-up bar, and a hamstring roller. There is also a stairwell where you can safely receive postal mail and packages. Our upstairs neighbors leave their bikes in this area but there is room for a bike in the basement. ROOM. Your room is next to the kitchen and has two sections: the bedroom (14.5 x 8 feet) and an office space (6.5 x 8.5 feet) with a door that leads to the backyard. ROOMMATES. We're generally early-middle-aged (30 plus or minus) dudes and have established a great respect for one another over the past few years. We communicate and work together to make the apartment good for everyone. As such, we're looking for someone with similarly good diplomatic skills. • Mike is a PhD student in IO psychology. I’m obsessed with effective altruism and applied ethics. I’m also interested in trading, jazz, punk, hardcore and death metal, battle rap, minimalism, and avant-garde Eric Andre, Tim & Eric style comedy. My schedule is variable though I often works from home and teaches on Friday and Sunday evenings. • John is an engineer - the type that can take apart a computer and then put it back together. He is tech savvy, loves tech gadgets and is a bargain-hunting, salsa-dancing machine. • Jason is an entrepreneur/interior designer/metal craftsman. He is super charismatic, sociable, and always has a smile on his face. He describes himself as a snowboarder, surfer, arts school grad, half hippie, half bro, 1/3 punk rock, played college football, loves music. He has also been a great contributor to the apartment. He built out our cabinets, built a glass/steel table from scratch and a steel counter top. He also cleaned out the entire back yard recently and turned into a thing of beauty. He's very knowledgeable about construction stuff and is willing to explain that stuff. UTILITIES. Internet is $17.48 per month. Utilities include electricity only and range from $30-$50 per month. TRANSPORTATION. The apartment is 1 block south of Williamsburg (i.e., Flushing Ave.), centrally located between three neighborhoods: Clinton Hill, Williamsburg, and Bushwick (each is just a few blocks away). You can walk to the G, J, M, Z, L. The G is the closest (3 min walk), JMZ (~10 min walk), but I usually walk to the L train (20 min). The 20 min walk to the L train might be too far for most people generally but, it’s a nice option if you don’t want to wait for the G – especially at night. The G is good for getting to Midtown Manhattan, Queens, and other parts of Brooklyn. The J is good for Downtown Manhattan. The M is good for midtown Manhattan. The buses are decent too (e.g., for Crown Heights). You can also get a discounted CitiBike membership if you live in BedStuy (ask for more info). SURROUDING AREA. There are parks (e.g., a newly finished park across the street, Herbert Von King park is a 10 min walk), grocery stores that are cheap (Bazzar foods, Junior's) and close (Market Fresh Supermarket is 1 block away), shopping centers on Broadway (e.g., Fat Albert, VIM), 2 Family Dollars, 2 Walgreens/Duane Reades, and a few 24 hour laundromats. There are lots of bars in literally every direction (e.g., Project Parlor, Moloko, ask me for more info) and a handful of nice coffee shops (e.g., Marcy & Myrtle, BKLYN Blend, Burly Coffee). There are at least 3 gyms nearby including Planet Fitness. Almost anything worth doing in Brooklyn is walking distance for me -- that goes for Williamsburg, Bushwick, Crown Heights, Park Slope, etc. *Include your phone number in your email for an immediate response. In full disclosure, we’re looking for someone good – not just someone to pay rent. I will want to have a conversation over the phone before we schedule a time to meet.
