The two available rooms each are (approx. 10 ft (L) x 9 ft (W) x 9.5 ft (H)) includes a closet and an east-facing window (next to the kitchen), and the other bedroom includes a closet and two east-facing windows and fire escape. About the roommates - all 2 are in their 20s/30s. Two guys. One is a recent NYU grad school graduate and the other is a working professional. You will meet them if seriously interested and qualified.
We're looking for a mature, motivated roommate who has their life together and is respectful. No druggies, jerks or inconsiderate behavior.
Two local grocers within 10-min walk, several bodegas on the street. Trader Joe's and Whole Foods in downtown BK. New restaurants, bars, and cafes are popping up in the neighborhood. Tepache (Mexican), Anchor Coffee and Saraghina (Italian) are popular highlights.
Move in date is April 1st but flexible for slightly earlier move in. The new roommates will be signing a flexible lease or sublet. We signed a two year lease spanning April 2019 - April 2020 to lock in our cheap rent. If you do not want to stay in the apartment through April 2020, you are allowed to find a replacement for yourself but will need to give at least thirty (30) days notice... the leasing office is very flexible in exchanging tenants (Edge Realty Group).
Realty company will ask for application (fee), credit check form (fee), tax return, photo ID, pay stub. Please ask questions regarding this to realty if strongly interested and have seen the apartment already.
Please contact with a brief description of your communication style, what you're doing in NYC, and any lifestyle info that the other roommates should be aware of. Also send when you are typically available to see the apartment during the week.
